Excerpt: I used to own this game on the pc and n64 so i thought i would give a review of the pc version. As every fifia game up to this one has had it all, gameplay, graphics and addictiveness and that hasnt changed here.
Pros: Great addictive fun, good commentry
Cons: annoying controls without keypad, easy when you know scoring patterm
Excerpt: I'm a fifa addict, i have every fifa football game ever made, and so I know quite a bit about each version, and I can honestly say, graphics aside, 98 RTWC is the best game fifa have produced. Long before 'pro evo' surfaced fifa dominated the football computer game market.
Excerpt: This is the best fifa game by far. The number of teams to choose from is econd to none. The road to the world cup section is the best ea idea ever so many teams and so my different areas to choose from.
Pros: Great gameplay and so many teams to choose from
Excerpt: I've got most of the FIFA games, including World Cup 98, this, FIFA 99, FIFA 2000 and Euro 2000, but this surprisingly enough is the best. Although now it is a bit out of date, the gameplay and graphics (I think) are still the best.
Pros: Good gameplay, range of teams
Cons: when computer teams are losing they are very bad
Excerpt: Have u ever played this game?? Well if you have then you'll know that the graphics may not be spectacular but the gameplay is excellant. The teams it has are unbelieveable and the RTWC challenge is good fun too.
Excerpt: This game from EA Sports is their best football simulator to date. Although they have released more commercial games such as Fifa 99 and Fifa 2000, this one has the edge. It is altogether more realistic than the others, from the way the players move to the transfers.
Excerpt: I love this game. The graphics look better than FIFA2000 and it plays better too. You feel more in control of the player and can score brilliant goals. You can do leagues or world cup and there are web sites with patches to udate players and kits.
Pros: graphics playability better than all the other FIFA's
Cons: you need to get a upgrade to solve the pathetic shot situation
Excerpt: I bought Fifa 98 after the owrld cup and it is my favourite football game. After a while I got pretty good at it and i could win any game easily. I started off playing Brazil. Ronaldo is the ebst player in the game and it can be fun for a hwile running circles round players with him.
Excerpt: Anyone with a like of football games, who cannot run either FIFA 2000 or FIFA 99, should seriously consider purchasing thi very playable game. Although relatively poor graphics by todays standards, the gameplay is fun, especially with the cheats and inddor stadium, which has since been removed from...
