Summary: There is the next game of mine that I really liked :) Involving story, reasonable difficulty in chase after the next location, entertaining mini-games and the entire game environment made me spend a cosy afternoon with this game :)
Summary: Was not the best or worst I've ever played, but decent. Graphics were pretty good, and puzzles were not that challenging. Two things I did like about this game though was the length (which was perfect), long enough for me to be satisfied, and the fact that when you were done with some of the scenes, it actually didn't let you go to that area anymore. I thought that was genius, because it eliminated backtracking to scenes that were useless.
Summary: I hesitated whether to try this iH0G game, much less purchase it but I am very pleased I read the other user reviews & did. The game is enjoyably creepy without being gruesome & I though that the play length was about right (I played the SE). The side black bars made their usual appeance for my wide-screen laptop but the graphics were excellent.
Summary: I really enjoyed this great game. Everything was nearly perfect - from the wonderful graphics, great music soundtrack, sound, effects, animation to the interesting yet spooky story/plot and easy gameplay, it was just fun. This game had a good number of hidden objects scenes combined with searching for inventories to solve puzzles and complete tasks. The length of this game was pretty long too, thus it was value for money!
Summary: First of all, this review is only based on the hour trial. The fact I played through the whole hour and groaned when my time was up shows that I really enjoyed this game. I loved the atmosphere of the game, it was creepy without being too scary to play with the lights off. One thing I especially love about the game is that it seems to be a good difficulty level, at least for myself anyway.
Summary: Nice HOG adventure with lots of things to figure out. Had a storyline, had some extra achievements, a few puzzles. HOG scenes were quite difficult but managed to avoid using hint to get the achievement. Overall nice. I liked that some areas closed so you didn't go wandering around once you had finished with them, however there was quite a bit of running to and fro at times.
Summary: I give it a 4.2 for excellent Creepy Mansion effects, including graphics, scenery, number of scenes, eerie music and sound effects, including a couple of frights. (Why do I always play these games at 2:00am?!) Length of playtime was long, there was a nice balance of adventure with HO scenes, and the story was compelling enough to keep your interest. I think the reviewer was a bit harsh in summarizing this game.
Summary: I want to state first that I would have given 5 full stars if the game was re-playable - but you are asked to find the same items on every play-through. Even so, I played it through twice and might just play it again!! I would give 4-1/2 if I could! The game is excellent! Ambiance, progression, fantastic Strategy Guide - and the bonus play was primo! Any game that I will sit through twice earns 4 stars from me.
