Summary: Was fun. I was hoping the other 2 farms would have been different, but it's the same boring farm all over again. Fun, but gets boring fast. When you makeover the first farm, I suggest you wait a while befoer you makeover the others so you wouldn't lose interest.
Summary: Wouldn't load properly. Couldn't even view characters as weird lines running across screen, no visible cursor, etc. Deleted and redownloaded - same problem. Had to ask Amazon for help and they just refunded my money. Running a very fast XPSP3, dual core processor, 2GB RAM. Update - this won't run on older ATI Radeon cards. If you have one don't buy this. Playrix support is very responsive and really tried to figure out the problem, but in the end I figured it out.
Summary: I purchased Farmscapes and I have had nothing but trouble with it. It downloaded and installed just fine, but just about every time I play it, it just shuts down on me. I click on "play" and it shuts down the game. I have to open the program 5-6 times before it will let me play at all, then after it finally lets me play 3-4 puzzles, it shuts down again and I start the whole headache all over.
Summary: Pluses: Pleasing graphics, some variety in game play. Minuses: Every time the screen needs to change (whenever you need to "go somewhere else"), you have to sit and wait while the page loads - often 5 or 6 seconds. This gets very tiresome. You even have to wait for pages to load before you can exit. This waiting is not due to my computer (an Alienware Area 51 maxed out); it is due to game design.
Summary: The game was fun, but there was too much Jewel Quest game mode for me. I tend to be more interested in the hidden object or puzzle solving type games. This was an okay change, but it did get a little boring and the kid was irritating. I liked Gardenscapes better. I also like time management games. I'm a grandma in my mid-50's who loves to play games on my laptop.
