Summary: Krystal has pretty much said what I thought about this game. Mostly I liked it for the bright and pretty graphic design; I prefer that to spending my gaming time in a rundown mansion or some filthy hospital, and steampunk is one of my favourite environments for that reason. I also thought the voice work was quite good, and enjoyed the variety of puzzles. They weren’t too hard, although I skipped a couple mostly because I don’t really like them (and I suck at doing them).
Summary: I agree with nearly everything the Gamezebo reviewer said. House of Brass had a promising start. Like the reviewer, I thought it might turn out to be a story about redemption, possibly a reunion with a long-lost family member. Unfortunately the ending was just the standard escape-and-the-house-burns-down thing, and instead of a tale of redemption, your character's childhood memories of her grandmother's stories of the wonderful house with the incredible inventions are...
