Summary: I liked the first Clockwork Man game, but loved the second one. I bought the Premium Edition which, very nicely, includes the bonus game right in the middle of the game itself. Very uniquely done. I love the graphics - they are gorgeous. I love the gameplay - the sideway and forward scrolling add something to the HO scenes. I especially loved the sideway scrolling, moving little steps at a time from one end of the scene to the other.
Summary: I really enjoyed this game. The story was so intriguing. Voice acting were quite superb. Graphics, artwork, music, sound, effects, animation - the whole lot - were excellent. Gameplay was so much fun and the mini-games/puzzles were very interesting and challenging. The end credits revealing the developers and casts were cute too. Congratulations to the game makers for an excellent job. I highly recommend this game.
Summary: I enjoyed this one more than the last one, but I am not quite sure what it is missing. However, I got a bit frustrated with watching some of the storyline and didn't quite get into and as engrossed as I could be. It has a nice mix of HOG and puzzles to solve and they had tried some unique things with the scrolling.
Summary: This game is fantastic! The graphics are very detailed and beautiful and the story very interesting. Many parts go beyond the usual solittaire style 'look an find' activities (good fun in their own right) to another level of participation where you actually solve clever riddles. Something that offer you another kind of appreciation for this game :) Really enjoyed it :) and look forward to The Clockwork Man 3!!!!!
Summary: I was lucky enough to purchase both Clockwork Man 1 and 2 at the same time. Therefore, when I played the two games I managed a seamless progression from the earlier to the newer. I was absolutely amazed at the beauty of the graphics in this game. Especially in CM2. Sometimes I found myself just gazing at my screen and not moving my mouse at all. The art was THAT beautiful. I also appreciated the change in CM2 to more Adventure and less HO.
Summary: This game is absolutely one of the best. The graphics are beautiful, the storyline is interesting and it makes you think. I purchased the original Clockwork Man and really wasn't expecting something exceeding it (it was a terrific game as well), but the Eclipse team managed to do something unusual...making the sequel even better than the original. It's one of the few games I have purchased where I wanted to play it again immediately after finishing it.
Summary: The Clockwork Man 2 Ultimate Edition -- This is such a glorious game. Hours and hours of engaging game play. Days, if you stop to appreciate all the details. The story is engrossing, the art work is gorgeous, the adventure is challenging but you won't tear your hair out, the puzzles are well constructed and thought provoking. Your powers of observation are definitely brought to bear to travel through the adventure.
Summary: I was really looking forward to this game, especially after the first one. But there was a sense of wonder and whimsy in the first one that I felt was missing from this one. First off, it doesn't specify whether this is a sequel or a prequel to the first one, so I was kinda wondering about that. It's not that I didn't enjoy the game, I just felt like it was missing something the first one had, the feeling of something new and exciting.
Summary: I haven't played the first Clockwork Man but I found this one to be greatly enjoyable and easy to follow. The technical aspect is superb, including the intuitive and eye-pleasing interface which, by the way, sports some rather impressive features such as the zoomable/ scrollable screens and Sprocket's handy gadgets.
