Summary: I already had the lunchbox and contents so I only bought this for the pipboy because if I bought one by it self it was the same amount. The clocks buttons did not work on arrival and i had to clean the buttons contections. The clock is not for use and should only be used to display because it drains batteries very quickly. BUT IT LOOKS SO COOL.
Summary: I love older games. I love the Fallout series. I'm not turned off by the older graphics or game play as they appeal to my nostalgia. Besides, I really just purchased the games to make my Fallout collection complete. However, Fallout Tactics simply will not play. I can install it and bring up the launch screen, but I get an error message each time asking for the game CD. Either way, the game won't run. It was only $17, and I'm happy overall.
Summary: While the game runs before crashes it is a terrific experience. That fact only makes the bugs, freezes, crashes even more disappointing. I am running Win7 Pro and even with ALL of the suggested fixes the game still has its, ummmm..., moments.
Pros: Great game continuation all the way from the ORIGINAL Wasteland. Lot's of imagination and dark humor. Story line(s) full of surprises. Great replay value
Cons: Typical Bethesda product. LOTS of bugs; some even game/adventure killing. Bethesda seems to rush to market to collect the dollars from the fans but NEVER does a decent job of debugging. They let customers report all the bugs and then offer limited patches. Some of the bugs seem to be memory leak variety which is just sloppy amateurish coding. Be prepared for frustration.
Summary: Truth be told, I meant to buy this for the Xbox and not for PC, so I still haven't played the add-on packs--I hear they're awesome, though, especially Anchorage. The poster is not of a blue-suited Vault-boy but a green/tan Where's Waldo of all the perk emblems from the game--when I want to feel like more of a nerd I can sit and name every perk that the Vault-boy (or girl) exemplifies.
Summary: The games themselves aren't that fun to play--too slow-paced compared to Fallout 3 and New Vegas--but the product itself was fine. Track down the player-made HD patch--it's free--and install it, or else the games will look messed up on any computer with a graphics card from this century.
Summary: i got fallouts 1 and 2 but no fallout tactics. it says "insert fallout tactics disk" whenever i try to play and it only vcame with 1 disk with all the downloads. seeing as how i got 2 games for 10 bucks im not too angry but i still like to get what i paid for even if i payed dirt cheap for it.
