Fallout One and Fallout Tactics appear to be missing...

Ian Miller, Amazon
23 December 2014
  • Summary: I really like the Fallout series, in general. Played FO3 and New Vegas, so I decided to delve into the past with these three classics. It seems to work fine, with one glaring exception...only Fallout Two appears to have downloaded! I cannot access FO1 or FO Tactics at all, it's like they aren't even included...and this IS the game I purchased. :( I even uninstalled and re-installed, with the same result, so I am unsure what to do now. Disappointed, really.

Great game. But a huge hassle to download

Thomas Hobbs, Amazon
5 August 2014
  • Summary: Great game. But a huge hassle to download. I didn't realize you had to download a separate program to download the game and sign up to a website. I also had to make alterations to it before it would run due to file corruption but once I got it working it is an awesome game.

It is difficult to play in Windows 7 multi core ...

Danny R. Wormington, Amazon
1 August 2014
  • Summary: It is difficult to play in Windows 7 multi core computers. Here is what I did to get it to work on mine. Make a copy of Fallout.ini. Give it a new name as this is just a backup. Open Fallout.ini in notepad. Find bUseThreadedAI=0 and change it to bUseThreadedAI=1 hit Enter then type in iNumHWThreads=2 Save. You have your copy for backup if you screwed up. Run it in compatibility mode for Windows XP Service Pack 2.
