Summary: Got this one and didn't do my homework....this is an online game only and have not as yet tried that as I prefer single player (off line) so to be fair I gave it three stars but.....who knows one of these days...so an update will be forth coming....it really isn't fair to judge it so...there you have it. Update:4/6/2012....Went on line did the almost 2gb update to the 3pointIcan'tremember version and tried to (after several delete character deals)..
Summary: I Beta Tested this game, and am about to log on after writing this in Dec 2011. I love this game. There are a few things I would change, but not as many things as other games. Every time a new MMO comes out I play it for a while, but always come back to FE. Now that it is free-to-play I don't pay a subscription which is great. The exp you get is a little less with a free acount, but it adds to the challege for me. Totaly recomend it.
Summary: I ordered this game via Amazom.com, and I never received it. I contacted the seller about it, and they promptly ignored me. Buyer beware. This is the 3rd Amazon product in a row that I have been very disappointed with. I've had much better luck with Ebay.
Summary: Absolutely, the best video game I have ever played in my life!! Although this is my first MMO, and I have always played FPS( first person shooter)games which are almost exclusively solo. I have played nothing, except this game for 1 year and 7 weeks. I cannot express the the positives of this game in the world of video games. Story lines, missions, quests, crafting, team missions, I could go on and on, are outstanding.
Summary: I picked up 2 copies of this for my wife and I because they were available on the cheap. I picked up a copy in BestBuy and read the box and was intrigued by the promise of a crafting system that produced 95% of the game's equipment. After several disappointing MMOs this year (Star Trek Online, Final Fantasy XIV, etc) I had optimistically hoped this would pass some time before Cataclysm.
Great game, Unless you fall into one of the unpolished holes.

Summary: I suscribed to this game the day it was released, It was unpolished. If you could look past all the minor annoyances(Getting stuck in some strange position and then having to commit suicide and go back across the world to revive, Very severe lag(My internet is fast enough to stream several movies at once), Rubberband(Being in one place only to freeze briefly and then reappear somewhere previous on your path), Length of time it takes to aquire or craft ammunition,...
Summary: I picked up Fallen Earth a few weeks prior to its first anniversary. Before release I played the open beta and almost immediately rejected the game. It felt terribly unpolished, didn't look very good and frankly wasn't very fun. With the free trial they have now, I decided it was worth another try - it was. I upgraded the game after just a day. What makes this game so good is that it's unique. It has a rather large barrier of entry but an amazingly good community.
Summary: I tried this game in beta and initially did not enjoy it, however Icarus has really done a reat job since release and have fixed all the issues I had. This is good sandbox experience, has one of the better current crafting systems (although SWG was better) and I feel really quite immersed in the post apoc world. I recommend giving the free trial a go if you are at all interested in a deeper MMO experience.
Summary: I would love to give this title more than 5 stars. It has a really good post apocalypse feel to it, it mixes crafting in well to the RPG story. It is great to gallop into a town and see other players' horses all outside of a bank or workshop. The RPG story line is pretty well thought out and varies enough that you can replay at least a couple times just for fun. The faction system works well.
Summary: I'm not into apocalyptic settings in games, but I thought I would give this game a go when it came out. It surprisingly appealed to me due to it's giant open world, deep character development, crafting options and community. Since that time, let me tell you, I have NEVER seen such a dedicated development team. There have been countless content updates and patches since it's release and they just keep adding more and more.
