Summary: Falcon 4.0 is a stand alone flight simulation of an F-16. It has been on the market for a long time, not an easy item to find anymore. A good simulation, but not excellent of great due to graphics and flight characteristics of the F-16 model. A company called BMS has updated the original Falcon 4.0 and made big improvements to flight characteristics and graphics, and offers the updated version for FREE. There is one catch..
Summary: Let its enduring popularity among the flight sim community even today stand as a testament to its excellence. With numerous mods available that enhance its visuals to more modern standards, fix bugs and other issues, and overall keep the game even more relevant than it would be otherwise, Falcon 4.0 will not disappoint and remains one of the greatest most challenging flight sims ever.
A fantastic military flight simulator for fans of F-16

Summary: Want to fly a Falcon Eagle ? This product is for you ! Falcon 4.0 is the reference among military flight simulators. With time the original version is outmoded but its programming and F-16 interface are realistic and detailed. However you need some habit to master all controls and devices (not only the use of each knob of the cockpit but also Ramp, flight and landing procedures, TACAN, ILS, radars, weapons, etc).
Summary: As someone who played Falcon 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 and loved every level, my standards for Falcon 4.0 were high. They were also met. Great graphics, excellent flight model, and a flawless installation into Windows 7 makes this edition of Falcon a winner in my book.
Summary: After 10 years away from flight simulators I purchased this. Great memories of Falcon 4 commanders version I use to love even with the bugs it had. Allied Force is a fantastic simulator of the F-16. Don't expect a typical game, although you can tone down the difficulty, the true enjoyment is found in the authentic settings.
Falcon4 is a serious hobby and buying Falcon4 is the E-ticket price

Summary: I first bought FalconAT, Falcon3.0, FalconAF, and Falcon4.0 plus all of its user community addons versions including: SP and currently BMS. BMS takes Falcon4 beyond what all other modern hardcore PC combat simulation games can do today, even exceeding DCS World because of the Multiplayer dynamic campaign engine in Falcon. People build expensive full sized working cockpits for BMS and even I have exported the MFD data to small monitors with TM MFD button controllers.
Summary: So, after 1 year of waiting for Eagle Dynamics to release the new fixed wing aircraft successor to the A-10C, I'm stomped with the P-51D Mustang. Really, I have nothing to say but it is excellent, but I'm more of a contemporary combat flight simmer. So, in a search for contemporary, sandbox study CFS, I hit this jackpot.
