Summary: After 10 years away from flight simulators I purchased this. Great memories of Falcon 4 commanders version I use to love even with the bugs it had. Allied Force is a fantastic simulator of the F-16. Don't expect a typical game, although you can tone down the difficulty, the true enjoyment is found in the authentic settings.
Summary: Falcon 4.0 Allied Force gives you the closest approximation you will get to flying a real F-16 unless you are lucky enough to get chosen to fly the actual plane or can get time in the military's simulator. The flight model is exactly like the real aircraft and just as unforgiving of inept pilots. The avionics are realistic as well, so much so that the sim gives you a simplified mode to use while getting up to speed.
Summary: This is a must play for fans of combat flight sims. The standard I will compare it to is Jane's F-18E/F. This is a tricky comparison. Falcon's graphics are about 2 years better. The radar systems and cockpit are very realistic in both games. The flight models are comparable. But Jane's does a much better job with drag and the effects of gas etc.
Summary: So, after 1 year of waiting for Eagle Dynamics to release the new fixed wing aircraft successor to the A-10C, I'm stomped with the P-51D Mustang. Really, I have nothing to say but it is excellent, but I'm more of a contemporary combat flight simmer. So, in a search for contemporary, sandbox study CFS, I hit this jackpot.
Summary: i've seen reviews for this game saying that the graphics are inferior or that the game is full of glitches...these people must have really crappy pc's cause i am a big fan of pc games including combat, racing & flight and this one is the best flight sim i've ever seen. very easy and quick to install with great graphics and sound effects. interactive cockpit that makes you feel like you're really flying...but know this, this is not a game.
Summary: This program is pleasantly overwhelming. Having never flown anything but a kite in my lifetime I am amazed at the amount of simulation/training this program has in it. I have always admired our Armed Forces Personel who pilot Military aircraft. This program though has given me just a small insight to the amount of training and the level of skill these pilots must achieve to be the best pilots in the world. It is truely overwhelming.
Summary: Yes there is a steep learning curve and I havn't learned everything after playing 2 weeks but enough to shoot down an average of 2 jets a mission. When you are looking for a action game this one is not for you if you want to fly a f-16 and combat a wide variety of jets , ground units and , ships this one is great.
Summary: I have flow simulators for 20 years. This simulator rocks. Fly with 10s or 100s of your friends online. Participate in simulated war zones with 100s of AI air and ground friends and foes. Use the latest in flight simulation hardware such as HOTAS Thrustmaster Flight Stick, throttle, and CH Pedals. Throw in TeamSpeak and you have the most realistic flight simulator available to the public.
Summary: I think that falcon 4.0 allied force is good but needs lots of improvements to be done on the game. the radio settings on the game needs to be able to allow the player to actually broadcast with their headset and it sure would be nice to actually command your flight without having to press a number on a keyboard to give that order.
Summary: I know it is a little older but I played the game and the graphics were completely horrible. I have a very fast computer with a top of the line graphics card that runs all games on the highest settings. I would not recommend this game to anyone.
