Summary: Compared to the first game I found this game to be quite a disappointment. I found the gameplay to be stale and miss the excitement of the first game. As well, to reach all the goals there is too much reply play of already played levels.
Summary: Unual for me to give 5 star to a card game but as I have had both games, this one is no disappointment as an even better game than the first & although it would be nicer to have a wider range of things to buy it is a very pleasant way to have a fill-in type game like this as no matter how many times you leave & go back it doesn't go back as some games do An all round entertaining game even wit the 'little pest' in it & gives us enjoyment to whop him one, even for us non...
Summary: Fairway is the best solitaire game I have ever played, it takes what was best about the original Fairway Solitaire and builds on it, along with greatly improved graphics and sound effects. The golf theme is nice and there are lots of trophies to earn and upgrades to purchase as you earn money, far more than Fairway Solitaire. I have Fairway Solitaire and can honestly say Fairway is a worthy successor and well worth a purchase even if you already have the first game.
Summary: This is a very enjoyable "golf solitaire" game. The graphics are nice and fairly cute. The music is decent, and the voiceovers are sometimes pretty funny. I enjoy collecting enough in-game cash to buy the various perks that increase your chances of earning more money, getting more bonus clubs, etc. I also really like that there are trophies to try and obtain, even if most of them are relatively easy to get.
Summary: I really enjoyed the original Fairway Solitaire, especially the commentary by the "Aussie" guy who sounded amazingly like PGA pro Ian Baker-Finch. I didn't buy the BFG CE for this current version, but I "hopped" all over the BFG SE today! ($4.99? Good deal!). This one might not quite measure up to the first one, but it's got its own charm. The graphics and animations are really good, and I like the choices for cursor and front & back of the cards.
Summary: While the Collector's Edition has twice as many levels, it is not nearly as funny as the Standard Edition. You just get to loss a lot more. There are a lot better games than this one. The game is fun and full of surprises. Earn trophies to earn more cash and buy power-ups. Don't forget to bop the gopher on the head in the golf course for an award . One award I am sure you'll enjoy earning.
