Summary: Extremely underwhelming. For a horror game it is very rarely scary, instead 90% is crammed with poor shooting against generic enemies. A disturbing and unfulfilling finale only accentuates how disappointing this is compared to the first.
Summary: It's not too often that games nowadays (i.e: CoD, Battlefield, etc) have a decent story behind them, but this series has a pretty interesting one. I would definitely like to read a book to get a full, more in-depth account of the plot to the F.E.A.R series. The gameplay is special as well, with the slo-mo skills making the battles a lot more satisfying but without costing it any difficulty. Sure, Max Payne did the slow-motion battle thing first..
Summary: One of my favourite games ever made. Intelligent, immersive, scary, graphically slick, a joy to play, just great. I've played it several times through including in the hardest difficulty mode and always love it. It's not quite worthy of a 10/10 as some sections can be a bit tedious, it's not a perfect game.
Summary: Very cool game, so much better/more polished than the initial 'sequels' and expansion packs to the original excellent F.E.A.R. game. This kept me occupied and jumping out of my seat for many enjoyable hours...
Summary: A worthy successor. Only minuses being that the game feels much more like a generic console shooter than the original. This is made up however by the grat story which had me completely hooked.
Summary: The gameplay was solid and fun. I had so high expectation for this game since a lot of folks talked highly on how scary of this game. Not that much for me. But I like the violent and bloodish in this game.
Summary: While it's nowhere near as scary as its predecessor, "F.E.A.R. 2" does manage to up the level of action and gameplay complexity whilst still keeping the intense sense of dread that made eponymous franchise famous.
Summary: The game doesn't follow the original story, but it's still scary as f**k! A new silent protagonist and story makes this one original to the series. However, the graphics, plot and MP need work. It looks like a PS2 game, which is bad in this generation of games. F.E.A.R. 2 is still a good scary game from start to finish, even if the plot isn't as good.
