Summary: I started out liking this game. But about halfway through, I realized I wasn’t really having any fun. Visually this is a beautiful game, gameplay is smooth, hints are generous and helpful, many of the puzzles are good, the items in the many HO scenes are cleverly hidden rather than in massive junkpiles…but there just wasn’t anything to set this apart from dozens of other well designed games.
Summary: I played the CE demo, then waited for the SE release to buy, which is my usual MO. LIked this adventure HOG a lot at first, but got bogged down as it went along and once I resort to a WT - as I had to here - it's hard for me not to keep leaning on it for the rest of the game. Overall sinister feel kind of a downer after awhile. Lots of HO scenes which I like and very fast filling hints.
