Summary: The advertisement on Amazon stated that this product (Destiny of Velious) contained ALL the in-game Everquest2 content when that is simply NOT true. I bought this product so that I could have access to a certain feature in the game. However when I received my product I was very upset and disappointed to learn it DID NOT contain all the "up to date" game content as was advertised and if I wanted to have access the feature I wanted I would then need to purchase yet another...
Summary: I was never a big fan of these kind of games. But this game made me hate the whole genre. I downloaded the 7-day Trial Version, which, apparently, is supposed to feature a very limited area to experience the game's features. The download was 17MB big. So far, so good. Installing the Trial I realize that it will be Online- testing the game's features along with other people. Mmm. I begin to feel scared by what I think would be huge loading times connecting.
Summary: This game is a waste of $$$$. The first EQ was the greatest. The only problem was that there was 10 expantions for it which was pretty retarded. This game has great graphics, but the more pretty-looking the game gets, from my experience the crappier it gets(Except for HL2 and cs souce!!). I would strongly recomend WoW over Eq2.1 thing that is so retarded is how much memory it takes up. Anyway get WoW istead of this and ull thank me and LUV ME FOREVER!!!!!
Great Graphics! But horrible gameplay! Poor Cust. support!

Summary: When EQ2 came out I screamed horray!!!! But as I played it I felt let down, betrayed, scammed, etc. I switch over to WOW and I am having a good time, but graphics are toonish though. Do not waste your money!
Summary: This game seems nothing more than a better looking EQ1. There is still ridiculous camping of mobs and items. What skills are you challenging when all you do is stare at tree roots waiting for a rock to spawn, for up to 3 days, such in Feerrot? There is solo content, if you feel like grinding out exp for weeks on end. The solo content in this game seems like it was added after the fact, its lame at best.
Summary: I just thought I'd warn people that if you buy a used copy of the game, and the original owner set up an account and tried it, you cannot get an account with the used discs at all, because the account key/cd key can only be used once. You will have to buy a new copy of the game. Similarly, if you want to create a second account for a spouse or for double-boxing, again you have to buy a second copy of the game.
Summary: Of all the MMORPG's I've played, this by far is the worst. The graphics are a let down, battle control is sluggish, its difficult to find your way around, game control in general just plain out sucks. The tutorial has some confusing parts in it that leave it a bit difficult to figure out how to end it and get on with the game. When you do get going on the game, it is confusing and a bit demeaning to any true gamer that knows what a good game looks and feels like.

Summary: EQ2 is a game that makes you want to set your computer on fire and kill your self, over and over. Pros: 1. Nice Graphics Cons: 1. Long load times 2. Forced grouping 3. lack of coin on drops 4. Fighting snakes and badgers for 20 lvls 5. Exp debt upon dying 6. Exp debt if you live but a party member dies 7. Same monster, different name, over and over 8. Lack of interesting zones, they all look/feel the same 9. $15 a month fee to feel miserable 10.
