Summary: If you can get past the somewhat steep learning curve, this 4x game is tremendous fun, and one you can sink literally hundreds of hours into without getting bored. My recommendation would be to review some Let's Play video on Youtube to really understand the basic mechanics of what you're doing. The In-game tutorial is somewhat tedious and imperfect.
Summary: I mean come on... If you are here reading this review and you have any idea what Paradox Interactive has done in the past you would've just bought it already. But since you are here reading this review... screw my opinion just buy the damn game!
Summary: I read good things about the EU series in the past (and Paradox games in general) but never took the plunge. I don't know why since these types of games are ones that I've gravitated towards for years, plus I'm a history nerd at heart. The biggest appeal to EU, at least for me, is that it is based in history and you essentially start out as the world was in 1444, right before the fall of Constantinople.
Summary: This game is for people who are very smart. Very challenging without cheat codes. I love it because it is very history based, even the crimean crisis ( UKRAINE) is updated in certain mods ( like the1-9999 one).
