A great game, but it still lacks multiplayer, i think thats the next think SCS need to do.

Excerpt: Well this is quite different from the other truck games made by SCS Software. For a start, the game starts as a mission-based game. You will work for a trucking company in either Sheffield, Felixstowe or Plymouth. The company will pay for all running costs of the truck, including repairs, however you will have to pay fines for traffic offences yourself. After a while of working for the company, you will earn enough money to buy your own truck and start your own company.
Conclusion: I played this game 24 hours without stop. It was like a god a among games. The best bit is just simply checking your mirrors, oh and re-fueling. Since i quit my job as a truck driver this game has re-discovered my desire to drive trucks. I'm close to crying just thinking about how much it has impacted my day.
Conclusion: had this game a while now.. and as some other reviews have said its addictive i have'nt stopped playing this since i bought it... both my dad ( now retired ) and brother both drive trucks for a living so i know its true to life in many ways.. getting to a destination on time and without damage and within yr driving time its very true to life. i just wish there were more countrys to drive in though.. the graphics are very good the detail inside the cabs is very good too.
Conclusion: this game i brought on the reviews on play and they were right once you start playing the game its hard to tear youreself away the gameplay is good as are the graphics the game is harder than in real life but you do get used to it a all round exellent game well worth the money
Conclusion: I drive a truck (Topline Scania) for a living and having played ETS for two days now and I love it. It's very realistic. I play mine on a 22inch widescreen monitor and it looks beautiful. The only thing I miss are the reversing bleeps!!!! Never played any of the former in the series but I highly recommend this .
