Excerpt: "I recently got Euro Truck Simulator and have basicly got this to say about it. The controls to turn the truck, using the key pad, was quite annoying due only to the range, which was all or nothing. That made turning quite complicated and, on multiple occasions, caused me to swerve into the next lane. Though that said, it is much better than than needing to turn the steering wheel back manually. Another annoying fact is, when driving in the new location, ...
Pros: Nice drive on largely great roads . Beautiful graphics on the truck and scenery . Easy driving .
Cons: Annoying to look around the cab using the mouse . Annoying turning system when using the keypad .
Excerpt: "Summary: This is by far the best simulator game by a long way along with Euro Truck Simulator. I had always had a fetish for simulator games and this one ticked all the boxes. I play this with a Madcatz steering wheel with out this its pretty hard to play with a keyboard. I regularly get mocked for playing this game but that shouldn't effect your opinion on playing it. I would recommend this to any of my friends as after playing it for just an hour ...
Pros: Ongoing, High graphics, Great money to fun ratio, cheap
Excerpt: "I am totally addicted to this game, when my boyfriend first told me about it i thought BORING but after five minutes of playing it i was glued. You get to travel europe getting paid carrying a variety of cargo but if you damage the cargo they deduct money. You also get fines if you crash into vehicles or speed. You have to stop at petrol stations to fill up which you get charged for and have to make sure your driver doesn't get too tired. When you ...
TRUCKING HELL? NO WAY, I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO BE A TRUCKER
7 March 2011
Excerpt: "UK TRUCK SIMULATOR I must admit, that when I was still at school, I had always wanted to drive a lorry across Europe on long distances, and felt it was a glamorous job - almost the equivalent of driving a steam engine many years ago. Even my father admitted to have liked doing the role, and my wife, before I had met her, had even looked into taking lorry driving lessons. This type of game is not everybody’s idea of a good game, in fact, I ...
Pros: Excellent game to take your mind off things
Cons: Have seen other games with better graphics, but still good .
Summary: Well this is quite different from the other truck games made by SCS Software. For a start, the game starts as a mission-based game. You will work for a trucking company in either Sheffield, Felixstowe or Plymouth. The company will pay for all running costs of the truck, including repairs, however you will have to pay fines for traffic offences yourself. After a while of working for the company, you will earn enough money to buy your own truck and start your own company.
Pros: Great driving physics and graphics, in-depth management system, great road network
Cons: No multiplayer mode, after years of developing the series.
Conclusion: I played this game 24 hours without stop. It was like a god a among games. The best bit is just simply checking your mirrors, oh and re-fueling. Since i quit my job as a truck driver this game has re-discovered my desire to drive trucks. I'm close to crying just thinking about how much it has impacted my day.
Conclusion: this game i brought on the reviews on play and they were right once you start playing the game its hard to tear youreself away the gameplay is good as are the graphics the game is harder than in real life but you do get used to it a all round exellent game well worth the money
Conclusion: had this game a while now.. and as some other reviews have said its addictive i have'nt stopped playing this since i bought it... both my dad ( now retired ) and brother both drive trucks for a living so i know its true to life in many ways.. getting to a destination on time and without damage and within yr driving time its very true to life. i just wish there were more countrys to drive in though.. the graphics are very good the detail inside the cabs is very good too.
