Summary: A frustrating game! Often difficult to find hidden objects and complete puzzles because many scenes are a bit too dark, objects are often very (too) small, objects are mostly hidden behind other objects, in a few cases objects are under the menu bars(!!!???), graphics are slightly blurry (low resolution graphics?), and some objects do not appear to match description (entirely). Frequent use of hints was necessary to find hidden objects and complete puzzles.
Summary: Great game, but am I EVER going to finish? Such long game play, which is wonderful after some games being a measley couple of hours. Some items very hard to find which can be frustrating, but hint system is good. I do find the story a bit silly in the fact that if my child were trapped after an earthquake, I sure wouldn't be taking the time to collect artifacts along the way while trying to get to her. Other than that, it's a great game.
Summary: Longtime peruser of the Zeeb here -- first time scribbler to't. (Thank you, Gamezebo -- stay as as unbiased as you can! It's something worth standing up for; I do it every day.) I just wanted to say: I'm so sad. I can't use even my free coupon code on this one. I am fascinated by the hour demo -- which I've just finished -- but I thought I should add a word here, for people whose eyes see differently than others'.
Summary: Finally, I just finished playing this game. I bought it months ago when Escape 2 came out so I would know the whole back story from the beginning. I never realized it was going to take me this long to complete the game. There are like 36 rooms in the museum and you visit each of them at least 2-4 times throughout the game. so nobody will ever complain this game was too short.
Summary: Loved this game!!! For those who really love Hidden Object Games (HOG), this is one to definitely purchase. Just enough mini-puzzles to kick up the challenge, yet a LOT of HOG levels. Yes, it is long, but you can at least, stop periodically and restart where you last left off. I did have to use quite a few hints, but that has never bothered me. To me, using hints is part of the 'learning curve' of any HOG, especially at the beginning of the game.
Summary: A very long HOG - I played over 7 hours to clean all rooms. It would be a fantastic game, but there are a few things bothering me: - the graphics could be better. They are sometimes very pixelated and unclear. - some items have "wrong" colors just to match the background better. - many items are far too dark and nearly impossible to find (yep, my monitor is configured correctly ;) ) - the "tasks" for the HOG-rooms are completely non-sense.
Summary: I loved this game. Yes, it was challenging at times but when you finally figured out the puzzle it was really simple. Your cursor shakes/wiggles over a HO and then you can click on it so it really doesn't matter if you can see it or not. I didn't want to use the Hints because you would loose points.
Summary: I really enjoyed Escape the Museum 2 so went to play this but got rather bored. Luckily you didn't have to fully complete all the rooms to 'escape' and finish the story. I enjoyed figuring out how to exit the rooms and finding the parts for those but the traditional HOG levels were tough and not in a fun challenging way.
Summary: I didn't like this game either. The shaking irritated me, and the woman bemoaning over her child detracted from the gaming experience for me. Oh, should I do my job or find the kid??? Played about 20 min and uninstalled it. Had such high hopes for it, too.
