Summary: Nothing exciting or bad. Just another sunken ship ghost story. A previously released game which was reintroduced by BFG. I can't remember what publisher it came from previously but I do recall playing it and was not greatly impressed one way or another. The scenes are rather dark and some items are just blended in well and makes it troublesome to find but the overall level of the HO scenes are easy to medium.
Summary: I agree with everyone else, this is a pretty straight-forward HOG with some predictable mini games. The storyline was okay, I wasn't quite sure who the people were that you met through the game and what their role was - in the end they were ghosts that needed freed to move on. (Interesting!) The graphics were wonderful and the HOG scenes were just hard enough to make me spend a few extra minutes finding something.
Summary: This is very much a straight HOG with some inventory tossed in. The premise is almost a clone of "The Poseidon Adventure." Options are the normal ones, including cursor choice; no voice acting, but the sub-titled dialogue is short, to the point, and can be repeated. Graphics seemed kinda water-colory; the hidden objects aren't necessarily obvious, but they're not camouflaged either. The sound effects didn't grab my attention, like they do in some games.
Summary: It's definitely NOT spectacular but it was the PERFECT game for a greenhorn being introduced to HOG with a touch of ADVENTURE. Player's hand is literally held and kindly escorted thru every scene. Nothing is difficult which I found to be a nice respite from the having to REALLY tune-in to the game. Back when my maiden voyage was RAVENHEARST I so wish that I was introduced to HOG with something like this.
Summary: This was a game I betaed a long time ago, not sure why it took so long to put out. Epic Escapes involves the sinking ship Queen Elizabeth, which has turned upside down like in the Posiedon Adventure. Your job is to escape from the flooding rooms and rescue a child and her father. The game is a good solid HOG with nice graphics and music.
