  • Summary: The Matrix changed the way we looked at movies and changed american cinema for good. One would think that the game based on such a culture changing movie would be just as good. Unfortunately, that's not the case here with Enter The Matrix. Enter The Matrix follows the path of two of the lesser characters from the movies, Niobe and Ghost. They pilot a ship called The Logos which is the smallest and fastest in the fleet.

  • Summary: Even while i think about the latest Tomb Raider, i still think this is the worst game i ever played. The game itself fells unfinished. The only way you'll fell at least a little satisfied with the game is if you use cheats. Fighting's okay, but it'll take forever to get the hang of it on a gamecube controller. A franchise as awesome as the matrix deserves much much better than this crap...

  • Summary: GRAPHICS- 4.0...Preferably the best thing in the game: Shiny textures and great graphic matrix moves will slightly make your jaw drop!..but some animations like: climbing, running, and walking look absolutely pathetic!!! SOUND- 3.0...Sound is usually not needed in a game..but in the matrix..it is really needed and this game's music of course didnt work out.

  • Summary: Atari created Enter the Matrix in the hopes of profitting off of America's most overrated movie for 2003, Matrix Reloaded. Atari has created a bandwagon game with a very cool holo-foil case. Atari has marketed Enter the Matrix very well. The only problem is...Atari created a horrible game. Once you get through the game's movie and cut scenes, the "cool factor" wears off immediately.

  • Summary: When that guy behind the counter starts talking about he and EtM are "getting along REAL well," just tune it out and get a better game, like, say, Kengo: Master of Bushido.

  • Summary: From the start at the start up screen I kind of just let my controller go,wanting to see if a video would pop up and the video that did pop up was a trailer for the game, this is one thing that clued me in that this game was rushed out in time for the movie. Most games don't have the trailer included like that in a game, usually it is secret. So I went into playing the game with low expectations and those were met because the game didn't really exceed them. The rest of this...

Typical Console Cross Over

Kingscott, Play.com
12 September 2005
  • Conclusion: This was first released on the PS2 and then onto PC and you'll see this is a very simple console cross over. In that I mean its isn't designed or even re-design for PC example. It doesn't use the mouse and in that feels along with the poor cross over graphics that I'm playing a DOS game.

  • Excerpt: "well i thought this would be very entertaining with the latest technology being used to make it. its crap unless you like the film and poorly built character graphics, dont bother. its easy to play, the controls are ok, but it looks like something i ate, then threw up then my dog ate and also threw up and then pushed about to resemble people this game also requires vast amounts of hard drive space, and quite a high spec computer anything ...

We're in the Matrix?!

  • Excerpt: "I'm a huge fan of the Matrix Trilogy- but this game is just somewhat disappointing. This is not what I expected to see from Atari Games. When I first installed "Enter the Matrix" on my computer, I couldn't wait to play it. Having seen the first and second movies in the trilogy I couldn't wait to play them out. I started playing and started thinking to myself "Ok, this game'll get better- it's just teaching me how to play, that's all." But, it ...

Enter the matrix just another licence

Bluemonke..., Ciao
10 May 2004
  • Excerpt: "...no line-up yet formed to enter the show I was waiting for. Those five hours crawled by and after the movie finished, I couldn’t help but feel a little bit disappointed. The fighting sequences had little snap in the punches, the storyline had few surprises, and the world of the Matrix didn’t leave enough to the imagination. Enter the Matrix is even more of a let down for fans of both the Matrix universe and for fans of good video games. A game ...
