Summary: The Matrix changed the way we looked at movies and changed american cinema for good. One would think that the game based on such a culture changing movie would be just as good. Unfortunately, that's not the case here with Enter The Matrix. Enter The Matrix follows the path of two of the lesser characters from the movies, Niobe and Ghost. They pilot a ship called The Logos which is the smallest and fastest in the fleet.
Summary: Even while i think about the latest Tomb Raider, i still think this is the worst game i ever played. The game itself fells unfinished. The only way you'll fell at least a little satisfied with the game is if you use cheats. Fighting's okay, but it'll take forever to get the hang of it on a gamecube controller. A franchise as awesome as the matrix deserves much much better than this crap...
Summary: GRAPHICS- 4.0...Preferably the best thing in the game: Shiny textures and great graphic matrix moves will slightly make your jaw drop!..but some animations like: climbing, running, and walking look absolutely pathetic!!! SOUND- 3.0...Sound is usually not needed in a game..but in the matrix..it is really needed and this game's music of course didnt work out.
Summary: Atari created Enter the Matrix in the hopes of profitting off of America's most overrated movie for 2003, Matrix Reloaded. Atari has created a bandwagon game with a very cool holo-foil case. Atari has marketed Enter the Matrix very well. The only problem is...Atari created a horrible game. Once you get through the game's movie and cut scenes, the "cool factor" wears off immediately.
Summary: From the start at the start up screen I kind of just let my controller go,wanting to see if a video would pop up and the video that did pop up was a trailer for the game, this is one thing that clued me in that this game was rushed out in time for the movie. Most games don't have the trailer included like that in a game, usually it is secret. So I went into playing the game with low expectations and those were met because the game didn't really exceed them. The rest of this...
Excerpt: The idea of The Matrix series becoming an MMORPG is an idea that would make the year of many fans of the brilliant trilogy of films (ok, not so much the third...), however, it ultimately seems to be an idea that is far better in theory than practice, or at least, it is poorly executed here, and is one of the biggest disappointments in gaming history.
Excerpt: Enter the Matrix begins where 'Final Flight of the Osiris' (an Animatrix film) ends and joins up with Matrix Reloaded once into the game. You play as either Niobe or Ghost with your first task being to retrieve a package from a post office which as you'll expect isn't as simple as it sounds. The appeal of the game, at least to me, was the fight style combined with bullet time. Unfortunately the game does not pull off either particularly well.
Excerpt: Enter the Matrix was disapointing in a way, like it has a multiplayer but it sucks, you cant even use focus (go into slow motion), its kinda crap, you dont even pick your character, and you cant unlock it unless you hack... in the hacking area. I will give some codes out later in the review. The game is about Ghost and Niobe (the 2 main characters in this game), I would of thought it would be about Neo, but its not, shame though.
Conclusion: This was first released on the PS2 and then onto PC and you'll see this is a very simple console cross over. In that I mean its isn't designed or even re-design for PC example. It doesn't use the mouse and in that feels along with the poor cross over graphics that I'm playing a DOS game.
