Summary: Not the best sequel ever, but it could have been worse. The humor that made Saints Row 2 an enjoyable game has been replaced in this sequel with sex toys and jokes. Killing off the most popular NPC was not the best choice. Forking out extra money for DLC missions was ok, but 99 cents for stupid s*** like Penthouse Pets (whom you would rather shoot then have on your side), a "Saints" themed plane, or "special weapons" makes this game feel like you were screwed the minute...
Summary: I have to agree with what others have to say about the download. Super slow. Ive downloaded and updated 2 games via the steam client and this download alone isn't done yet. Isn't this a steam game anyways? Amazon, why would you put a decent game on sale for download without having servers and bandwidth that can handle a few people downloading it? I suppose I can give a review of them actual content of the game sometime next week at this rate.
Summary: The game itself is lots of fun, if a little bit TOO over-the-top for my tastes. It's similar to a Grand Theft Auto type game where you run around a city causing complete chaos, mayhem, theft and murder. It plays well and looks good on my mid-range PC with Win7. I would have given the game 4 stars instead of 3 except that I'm am very irate after my experience with the "steam" aspect of the game. Now, mind you, I purchased the retail DVD version of the game.
Summary: It's a pretty fun game in that for an RTS it offered a unique spin on being able to offer voice commands. The voice commands part works pretty well, not perfect, but enjoyable. My only problem with the game is that it got repetitive rather quickly. Same thing, different map, but not different enough in that the objectives were always the same and you always had to deploy the correct forces against a certain enemy, which didn't allow for strategics.
Summary: I'd head about EndWar a long time ago, and was totally psyched to get it for Easter. However, the game's graphics were sub-par, and the game frequently froze up. You can also use the same strategy on a mission many times in a row, because the game keeps on putting the same type of mission on the same map. I won the Conquest of Le CEITO about six times using the same basic strategy.
Summary: Game came in brand spanking new even tho purchased used...the voice commanding is what makes this game super duper but being bound to ur units and no freedom of movement sucks....makes me want to shop again with these guys but the game is 3 of 5..good buy..
Summary: Well developed, but because the game has so many options and nuances, you really need a more thorough explanation of how to allocate resources and control them during the various scenarios. The short game guide included in package is really insufficient. It takes a lot of trial and error without this, and you still don't know all of waht is going on.
