Summary: if your looking into starting the empire earth series, get the first one, gold edition, while this one is a bit better than EE2 in some ways, its still bad compared to EE 1, empire earth 2 and 3 were taken over by a new company and development team, needless to say, thats the reason why its not as...
Summary: Those of you that still remember the first Empire Earth, will know that if you set-up the game for 2 players, the difficulty to the default setting and hit the start button... you'll be sit on that chair for 2hours++ just to get through the stone age.
Summary: I experienced a lot of lags when playing this. Things slowed down a lot, screens took long to load. Maybe the game is too taxing for my system. However, the Multiplayer was quite entertaining and I kept playing longer than I would have ever guessed.

Good game for casual gamers, but disappointing for hardcore EE fans.

Summary: Let me just preface by saying I owned both EEI and II and enjoyed them very much. I thought EEIII was going to be great, but it doesn't meet my expectations and it disappoints me. The game is a good one, it just is quite a deviation from EE I and II and I'm not sure it's worth $50.
Pros: Neat design. Still playing through world domination, about 7 territories captured so far.
Cons: When fighting off attackers, can go in and battle them in the RTS mode and win almost every time. I've even been placed in the middle of their camp and still won. Kind of makes the game a little boring, not a real challenge. When autosaves run the game stops for a second, gets annoying.
