Summary: If you love history and a quality RTS, then you found your game. This RTS boasts a number of improvements over the first, in fact this is the best game in the series. Customizing and battlefield control is excellent. I highly recommend this game. (Gamer for over 20 years).
Summary: This game is great. It's similar to the first game but adds some new things to keep it fresh. The one thing I don't like about the additions was the use of houses to increase the amount of population you can have. I preferred the system in the first Empire Earth where all of the population was accessible from the beginning. In addition to this, when I purchased this item, I thought I would get the game pictured. Instead I received the European version.
Summary: Although I was not a huge fan of the original Empire Earth, I found that after playing the demo for EE2 the developers and designers had really gone back and made some sorely needed changes to a game that I thought was second rate to games like Rise of Nations or even Epires, DotMW. The original Empire Earth seemed a bit rough around the edges and unpolished, but the core gameplay was satisfactory.
Summary: this game rox!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! everything is excellent about EE2 except 5 things: 1)every unit goes really fast! example, planes, can reach the other side of the map in about 10 seconds. ships can do it in about 20 seconds. 2)there can only be a certain number of each type of building on each territory. ex: 6 houses. 3)Aircraft carriers can only hold 4 planes, but i guess thats ok, because a plane can stay in the air for as long as it has ammo left.
Reasonably entertaining but rather complex. Good RTS

Summary: Empire Earth 2 (EE2) is a worthy successor to Empire Earth (EE), filling a number of holes and adding massive amounts of content to the original game. The play is frantic and tough and enough content's been added so that you can spend days on a single game. I knock a star off both fun and overall for a combination of things making the game far more complex than it should - including inexcusably skimpy documentation - but this deserves 4/4 stars for fun and playability as...
Great game, Great concepts, too bad some units look silly in certain Epochs

Summary: A great RTS game that makes some great game play additions and intergrates great new features that will be considered mandatory for future RTS games. The only problem I found was that some units that appear in certain Epochs don't have unit appearence considered appropriate for that Epoch. Look at scouts in the final 4 Epochs, and spies in Epochs 12-13 or 14.
