Summary: This game is great. It's similar to the first game but adds some new things to keep it fresh. The one thing I don't like about the additions was the use of houses to increase the amount of population you can have. I preferred the system in the first Empire Earth where all of the population was accessible from the beginning. In addition to this, when I purchased this item, I thought I would get the game pictured. Instead I received the European version.
Summary: This game is excellent! The graphics are great and I love the abundance of features in this game! It is certainly an improvement over the original Empire Earth. However, the game does take a little getting used to and can be confusing.
Summary: I like it. Its much easier to defeat than the old one. Some of the concepts are the same, others are changed beyond recognition. Cheats are there, but in smaller quantities. But they are not needed to defeat the AI on easy. Some new units never really come into play.
Summary: this game rox!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! everything is excellent about EE2 except 5 things: 1)every unit goes really fast! example, planes, can reach the other side of the map in about 10 seconds. ships can do it in about 20 seconds. 2)there can only be a certain number of each type of building on each territory. ex: 6 houses. 3)Aircraft carriers can only hold 4 planes, but i guess thats ok, because a plane can stay in the air for as long as it has ammo left.
Great game, Great concepts, too bad some units look silly in certain Epochs

Summary: A great RTS game that makes some great game play additions and intergrates great new features that will be considered mandatory for future RTS games. The only problem I found was that some units that appear in certain Epochs don't have unit appearence considered appropriate for that Epoch. Look at scouts in the final 4 Epochs, and spies in Epochs 12-13 or 14.
Summary: Although I was not a huge fan of the original Empire Earth, I found that after playing the demo for EE2 the developers and designers had really gone back and made some sorely needed changes to a game that I thought was second rate to games like Rise of Nations or even Epires, DotMW. The original Empire Earth seemed a bit rough around the edges and unpolished, but the core gameplay was satisfactory.
Summary: The game is good. I played EE1 and really enjoyed it. I really enjoyed EE2 as well. However, don't expect to jump in and crack on 9 enemy AI heads. The lag is horrid. Even on a new system (P4 3.4, x700 PCI-E and 2GB of RAM) I was lagging after 20 mins. The game offers great replayability. However, I can see myself getting bored until the next expansion comes out. Not as good as Civ 3, but definately up there.
Reasonably entertaining but rather complex. Good RTS

Summary: Empire Earth 2 (EE2) is a worthy successor to Empire Earth (EE), filling a number of holes and adding massive amounts of content to the original game. The play is frantic and tough and enough content's been added so that you can spend days on a single game. I knock a star off both fun and overall for a combination of things making the game far more complex than it should - including inexcusably skimpy documentation - but this deserves 4/4 stars for fun and playability as...
Summary: Yesterday I bought EE 2. I loaded it and started to play and I was amazed. First of all I played and have the first one. The first release broke out of the hum drums of RTS games by integrating a whole new aproach in many ways (not going into detail) but this one uses that success and mutiplies it by 5X. The interface is more simple to use and there is a editor that is shipped with it.
Empire Earth II / 2 (PC): Empire Earth 2 - Build your empire today!

Summary: Empire Earth 2 is a real time strategy game that is available for the PC. It was originally released in April 2005 and really is a fantastic strategy game. Empire Earth 2 is a more demanding game requiring a fairly moderate graphics card ad it does take up 1.5GB of storage space. The game itself has three different playable campaign modes that are Korea, America and a German compaign.
Pros: Great gameplay modes and fantastic graphics.
