Empire Earth 2

Fragland
29 May 2012
  • Excerpt: The original Empire Earth contained some flaws that made it fail to become one of the classics amongst along the lines of Command&Conquer and Total Annihilation. With tons of options, lots of hours of gameplay and great graphics, Empire Earth 2 is supposed to close the gap with these titles named above. Will they close the gap this time?

Empire Earth 2

The Gamers Temple
9 August 2006
  • Excerpt: Date: 7/19/2005 Like its predecessor, Empire Earth II (EE2) lets you lead your civilization all the way from the dawn of time through the present and into the future. As you move your way through 15 epochs, you begin by battling with sticks and stones and eventually work your way up to lasers and nukes. With such a large scope you can probably guess that EE2 is a pretty complex game.

Empire Earth II

Gameguru Mania
4 May 2006
  • Excerpt: Developed by Mad Doc Software, Empire Earth 2 follows in the tradition of the original game by being the historical RTS with the greatest span of time, with the greatest amount of civilizations, units, and environments. Those that have played real-time strategy games in the past (and especially those who played the original Empire Earth) should have no problem jumping into Empire Earth II.

Conquer Earth, Again!

GIN
20 June 2005
  • Excerpt: My book summarizing the depth of EE2 will be released in about a hundred years, but for now, I'll try to throw it all into a few pages. To say that EE2 is in depth could possibly be the largest understatement ever. This is the single most in depth RTS game that this gamer has ever played. In fact, I can honestly say that I was overwhelmed at times.

GameSpot
27 April 2005
  • Summary: Empire Earth II has a lot of good points, but it's no friend to the casual real-time strategy gamer. While developer Mad Doc Software has improved on Stainless Steel's 2001 blockbuster, increased depth and additional options have turned a huge game into an absolutely colossal one. This sequel remains a standard historical RTS, but it's also a grab bag crammed so full of new features, interface amenities, and complexities that it's bursting at the seams.
  • Pros: Outstanding depth, including an incredible number of civilizations and units, Smart AI adds challenge to solo games, Virtually all rules and settings can be customized, Innovative new features, like picture-in-picture, the citizen manager, and the war planner
  • Cons: Serious complexity, even with the new interface features designed to make the game more user-friendly, Some pathfinding annoyances

O svìtovládu nyní usilují tøi rùzné frakce a to západní, støedovýchodní a východní.

  • Summary: „Empire Earth 2: The Art of Supremacy“ ist eine solide Erweiterung für Fans. Grafisch macht „Empire Earth 2: The Art of Supremacy” allerdings keine sonderlich gute Figur mehr.
  • Pros: Herausfordernde Missionen, Neue Mehrspieler-Modi, Zivilisationsmanager
  • Cons: Grafisch kaum verbessert, Immer noch Wegfindungsschwächen

Review: "Empire Earth II" (PC)

gamingxp.com
5 November 2006
  • Cons: Hoher Schwierigkeitsgrad, Keine besondere Grafik
