Summary: STORYLINE: The protagonist Albert, a young magician, is searching for his sister who has been kidnapped. He must go on a journey through a magical kingdom, solve many diverse puzzles and find numerous hidden objects, in order to reach and free her. ARTWORK: The artwork is fantastic. It provides a consistent source of enjoyment throughout the game, and the occasional moment of real wonderment.
Summary: This is one of my favorite HOGs. So rare to have everything that's fun about a HOG with so many original "elements," please pardon the pun. Technically, I can't say any more than Ratqueen's review, but it deserves a way higher rating from users than it presently has. One of the best hidden object/fantasy games ever created.
Summary: I was pleasantly surprised by this game, and even more so later on (the trial time wasn't enough to see the full potential and beauty of it). First of all, the game is absolutely gorgeous and has a strong magical atmosphere. Every screen is beautifully animated and colorful, and makes you feel like you suddenly landed in another world.
Summary: Very pretty game. I'm all for the bright colour schemes - a sucker for them actually. But considering the storyline and illustration style, this is definitely geared toward younger gamers . Game play was pretty good. The hidden objects didn't really have anything special to it, just parts of mechanisms the protagonist has to fix in a variety of tasks. Mini games were mostly easy except for a few, so nothing special there.
Summary: Just played the demo of this game for 45 minutes - the graphics and animations are very nicely done. This game has a very magical Harry Potter type feel to it. The puzzles are not too difficult but not too easy either. The mini puzzles you must unlock are interesting and not too bad to do. There is a battle sequence that activates which brings up a chess-board type game (don't worry, it's easy enough!) where you must fight your pieces against enemy pieces.
Summary: This game surprised me. Initially when I saw the artwork & graphics, I thought it was aimed at kids and preteens because of the "Harry Potter" fantasy magical theme. But I soon found out that gameplay is interesting, story & characters are unique. The graphics & artwork are really beautiful, colourful & cute. The art department had certainly put a lot of effort in creating really special unique characters that really captured my attention and imagination.
Summary: This is a game I absolutely would've killed for when I was 11 or 12. Not that I didn't enjoy my time playing it, but I definately think this is a game geared to younger players. I never could get the battle parts, but maybe that's just me being impatient. Very enjoyable artwork, storyline and gameplay.
