Summary: The Wicked Witch has cast a spell on the entire realm -- time stands still, people are about to fade into permanent phantomdom! You must find the right parts and solve the puzzles to get time to start again -- and save these poor souls! This really well-crafted HO/adventure game has gorgeous art, which counts for A LOT in my book.
Summary: Echoes of the Past: The Citadels of Time Nice game play We love fantasy games a lot! This one have great graphics! Witch & time travel through ages - quite engaging storyline & game play! Visual effects are simply stunning.
Summary: I was looking for a change from the glom of ERS games I’ve been playing recently and Orneon provided just the right game with Citadels of Time. I remember enjoying the previous two installments of this series but CoT was far and away the best of the bunch. I won’t rehash the basics since that’s already been fully covered but rather I’ll just point out what really stood out for me.
Summary: Good for beginners. Puzzles are not very difficult and a LOT of HO scenes. Plain and dull storyline. Played the previous ones and really enjoy them but not this one. Didn't see much improvement.
Summary: The Echoes of Past series just keeps getting better! I love that the developers keep upping their game for each installment; it keeps the series fresh. Gorgeous graphics and plenty of locations to explore right up to the end. I enjoyed the amount of puzzles and the variety, but the challenge level varied wildly, some were no-brainers and others were very challenging. My biggest complaint with the last two installments were the length. They were both pretty short games.
Summary: Very nice game to follow in the Echoes of the Past series, the only problem I have with it are repetitive mini-games. If it's too hard to come up with different games, don't bother putting them in!
Summary: This adventure HOG has exceptionally high production values, crystal clear graphics and obvious attention to detail; nonetheless, it seemed just a bit TOO much for me after awhile. Excellent HO searches and great background music; fun puzzle-lets to find some objects. The very many search locations were just too much for my brain to handle at some points though, which is a frequent problem: how do I get back to the place where I need to use this object to solve a puzzle?
Summary: This one is one of the best adventure/HOG that I have ever played. Most games as they come up with sequels tend to lose their steam, but these guys have taken the game one notch higher than their last. The game even uses many of the same locations as in the past games but in a different setting so its not the same place but someplace vaguely familiar and enticing to players of the previous installments.
