Summary: I bought this game as a 2 pack value from Walmart and loved it from the first moment I played it. The graphics are excellent and the voice acting is good. I was shocked at how it ended and wanted the game to continue. Overall this game was a great buy for what amounts to 5 bucks.
Summary: This game has a lot going for it. It has a gripping premise; you play as someone who goes to a castle that has been converted into a museum, hear the tragic story of the Orion royal family, and suddenly find yourself sucked into the past, in a castle filled with people who have somehow been turned into stone. The only way you can get back into your own time is to somehow break the spell or curse. The game has interesting puzzles and very nice graphics.
Summary: Excellent! Even better than Echoes of the Past: The Castle of Shadows!! The most interesting so far and also more work, patience, persistence is needed, but the graphics are gorgeous and the game makes you not want to stop! Brilliant!
Summary: I had tried the demo on this game when it came out....I passed on it. Then the sequel came out and it was pretty darn good.....so decided to give the this one a second look. I did finish it and decided I was right in the first place. Oh, I am not saying it wasn't a good game, as it does pass up what games were even several months ago, but it is not up to the level of so many of the games that have came out over the last year. Could only give this 3 stars.
Summary: I liked this game! However, I felt the theme & story kind of imitated Princess Isabella. For Princess Isabella, the kingdom was also cursed by a witch and everyone were trapped in mirrors while in Echoes, everyone were trapped as stone statues. Even the gameplay were similar - there were hidden objects scenes, using inventory to open doors, locks, chests, solve puzzles, make potions. The mini-games were really interesting too.
Summary: Had to use the Walkthrough for practically the entire game because I had no idea what to do or where to go next. Fairly new to HOG, so I'm not sure if this is normal or not. Story could have been a lot better and the ending definitely sucked eggs. Felt like I worked too hard for very little reward. Graphics were ok - some objects were challenging to find and I liked the creepiness.
Summary: i enjoyed the game very much. just love the scary atmosphere in it. The storyline is quite good and interesting. But they should add more stories in the castle:) Anyway, I'm quite used to today's HOG's abrupt endings and short length.
Summary: I'm new to pc gaming but I have tried quite a few hogs. I liked this game in many ways but the ending was so stupid, I couldn't believe it!!! It's almost as if one person wrote the whole game until the last task and then they put in that stupid voice and ridicules ending!!! It was unbelievably cheesy especially when the whole game was pretty well done. (All the voices were pretty stupid but that last one... pllleeeaase!!!
