Summary: Well, graphically this game clearly looks awful now but who cares, it's not about that. I guess the primary problem is now is that while you can see the incredible influence this game has had on others, unfortunately its progeny such as Torchlight completely blow it out of the water now making this feel like just a basic grinder.
Summary: I love the dungeon Siege series, but this has to be the best one from it. The game is so simple to understand and had a good story. The graphics may not be the best, but, who gives a crap about that anyways? They were good for it's time. It's a great role playing, action game. Even though the game came out 11 years ago, it's still epic.
Best PC game that I have ever played! Awesome Game! Highly Recommended!

Summary: I absolutely love Dungeon Siege! Dungeon Siege was given to me as a birthday gift 10 years ago, and it was one of the first PC Role Playing Game that I really got into. The graphics are amazing, the slash-and-hack battle style is fun and entertaining, and the ability to choose how you want to build your team and characters is awesome.
Summary: Good piece of technology. With such great video game design at the time and the right people to do the job, they had no worries with the setup to the game and interface. The story is also fun!
Summary: This game was the best game ever when i started playing in 2002 when it came out, it offered so much when i didn't expect much. over the years i have played it over and over. i can't get away from it, there is only one problem, the maker removed the multi player and sold out after the great series, and turned it into dungeon siege 3, a crappy story line based game. but its still to this day one of the best games i have played.
Summary: I enjoyed this game very much, its probably the best out of the entire series... it is a little bit like icewind dale, baldurs gate, etc... but this one u get guns, u get a large party of heroes, and it just never seems to get old, i just wish it never had an ending
Summary: A lot of people are commenting that it's not an RPG and their opinion of it suffers for that. And they're right, this isn't really an RPG. It's a dungon crawl with RPG elements. And it's massively fun! I've come back and replayed this several times, as well as the expansion and sequal and various community mods, because it's a good solid hack 'n slash game. You run around, kill things, and take their stuff.
Summary: There are certain areas in the game where my army will scatter even though I have settings on hold ground that unnerve me. It looks cool but is not as I lose control when some of the team is out of sight. Then some screens are so dark and hard to see I will brighten the screen. I am constantly backing up or putting on the brakes as a result when things get hairy. Plenty of saves keep it from being impossible. I like it better than DSII or its expansion BW.
Summary: I suppose most kids would view this with disdain, but I at 67 enjoy it greatly as a diversion from technical vocation. As with most games having relatively static formats, it eventually becomes somewhat predictable, yet continually offers opportunity for improvement in play and strategy. Have played many times over with no loss of interest.

Summary: I first played this game years ago, and I loved it. As the years passed, and the game went missing, it slipped my mind. But recently it resurfaced, and I recall how much fun I had playing it. So I ordered it again, and am so glad to have it!! I'd recommend it for anyone who just likes to zone out for an hour, without having to think too much. It's great fun, nice graphics considering the year it was made.
