Summary: Ok, let's be clear - I love the game and played it a lot years ago. But I can no longer recommend that anyone get this game. Seems you now must have Steam to play the game and that is just too much of a hassle to bother with. My son spent eight hours tying to get Steam to run this download to no avail. I will not buy another computer game if my research indicates that Steam is required to run it. I have had nothing but bad experiences with Steam.

Summary: The item description leaves out the very important fact that you have to have an account with a third party company called STEAM. And you need to have an active internet connection to play. The ad is a lie by omission. Also, the game gives me only a black screen even though 2 different sources have confirmed that my system meets minimum requirements. The failure of the game to run might be due to the fact that STEAM is having trouble.
Summary: The best hack&slash RPG out there. PROS: Fun and addictive combat with cool-looking abilities Awesome loot system Pleasant and varied environments, monsters and NPCs Lots of side quests, some of which are very clever Many secrets, puzzles, hidden treasures, secret rooms and easter eggs Some epic boss fights Great soundtrack CONS: Some minor glitches/annoyances (mods resolve some of them) The combat can get dull after a long session of playing The voice acting is mediocre...
Summary: My netbook uses Windows 8 64 bit operating system. To get the Dungeon Seige II to launch, I needed to download and install DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer: [...] Now everything is running very well. Excellent game at an excellent price. Happy gaming!
Summary: I really enjoyed this game on the whole. Even though I'm playing this 8 years after it's release it still looks and feels good. It has a pretty good sized story line and options to play over again on the same character (something that I really enjoy to do). The hack and slash combat can get a little old at times, but when it starts to get old, the game generally changes pace to keep the game fresh.
