Summary: Some users say its repedative, borring, and bland. I agree, and the soundtrack is nothing special. BUT this game i find entertaining. Its a game you can only really play for maybe an hour before playing something else and come back to it from time to time.
Still one of my favourite racing games, Toca Race Driver PC.

Excerpt: My Purchase. I have had this game since it was first released and back then this game cost me £40, I still remember looking at the box in the store (wow to think I used to actually visit stores for games specifically and now that seems a long time ago and a stone age way to buy games) and at first I...
Pros: Adds a story to a solid racing platform and has a good varied selection of races .
Cons: Lack of updating makes this a royal pain to get installed, unles you have some savvy .
Driving games couldent get more simpler but so fun

Excerpt: Although this game is from 1999 it has some of the most simplest concepts, yet you can get hours and hours of fun out of it. First on the ps1 and then on pc, which it's just as good on the pc. Drive around one of 4 citys escaping the police, don't let them hit you or you will fail your mission.
Pros: Simple, fun, anyone can play
Cons: It's a tad old but that don't really matter brill game
Excerpt: I played this not long after playing GTA3 as I was hoping for something of a similar style. Bad mistake to make. Driver is exactly what is says. It's purely driving to certain points to complete your mission.
Excerpt: Published: 3/27/2001 The Story: Once leaving stock car racing a few years back you head to New York for police work. Being the skilled driver you are you later decide to head to Miami to go undercover. Your name is Tanner.
Summary: The first thing to note about this game is the graphics - they are phenomenal. There are forty-two cars playable, and the details on them are excellent (see screenshots). Graphics alone does not make a good computer game though. The game does have several drawbacks.
Summary: It has been quite a while since the fantastic TOCA Touring Cars 2, and Codemasters decided that the way to go was to expand the touring cars theme across the world and bring in a storyline to flesh the game out beyond pure racing. Unfortunately, it's not been a complete success.
Summary: First off this game looks very good out on the track, and th e racing can be close, fast and furious. The damage modelling works well although damage really doesn't seem to affect your performance. But it's not really the gameplay that lets this game down...
This game's a hoot! Or should that be a toot (on the horn)?
SAP "Steba", Amazon
4 November 2005
Summary: OK, I've awarded it 5 stars for fun (because it's just like being in one of those '70s American car chases that were on TV) but only 3 stars overall because the novelty of being in a '70s American car chase (however realistic, and it is that) wears off after about half an hour.
