Zombie Driver

GamesRadar
14 January 2010
  • Pros: Deeply silly in tone, Surprising detail and destruction for an indie game, Upgraded vehicle is awesome
  • Cons: Sadly, not about a zombie that drives, Incredibly stingy about ammo, Tedium rears its head after a while

Zombie Driver

AV Club
21 December 2009
  • Excerpt: Certainly no one can accuse Zombie Driver of false advertisement: You drive around in a car and run over unending hordes of the walking dead. Problem is, that’s all you do. The story—as if anyone really needed an excuse or context to mow down zombies—is minimal and about as coherent as anyone would demand from such a title. After an unfortunate chemical outbreak, you emerge as seemingly the sole survivor in a city now rampant with discolored brain-eaters.

Zombie Driver

Gamer vision
7 December 2009
  • Excerpt: With a name like Zombie Driver, little is left to the imagination. It immediately lets any prospective buyers know two things: both driving and zombies will make an appearance. Seeing as there's likely a small audience for a Forza clone with all of the racers replaced with the undead, it's should be fairly obvious that the game is about flattening zombies in a car, something that hasn't really been done all that much despite the zombie market booming as of the past few...

Trainz Driver

  • Excerpt: "She'll be coming around the mountain when she comes!" There can never be too many games about trains and needless to say, I'm sure all kids at one time or another had train sets and this is what Trainz Driver is all about. With that said, Trainz Driver is classified as a train simulation that transforms you into the role of a engineer/driver.

Zombie Driver

Square-Go
21 March 2005
  • Excerpt: The beginning is one of the most important factors in scene setting and tone of a game. A stylish intro sequence can draw a player in and give motivation to their endeavours, whereas a poor beginning can ruin all interest in an otherwise decent title. The opening sequence in Zombie Driver however, manages to do something quite different.

Toca Race Driver

GamersHell.com
4 July 2003
  • Excerpt: Racing sims are a special blend of gaming. They give you the thrill of something you may never experience in real life, while satisfying your need for excessive speed and life threatening challenges. TOCA Pro Racer (aka Pro Race Driver in North America) is the next game to offer this great experience. But surprisingly, it also offers something not every racing has done before, an RPG-style storyline that keeps you well immersed in the game.
