Not worth it at full price - Plus you have to fork over another $5 for the thematic armor schematics.

Robert W. Griswold, Amazon
16 June 2015
  • Summary: I bought this expansion for PS4. It seemed worth it because I wanted to make better armor and weapons and explore new content and gain access to new t4 components. Overall, the challenge level was greater than anything else in the game.

User Review

owen1218, Metacritic
3 April 2015
  • Summary: This is everything a paid DLC should NOT be. What it offers us is one new zone, that is really no more interesting than the zones currently in the game. And actually less so, because at least the zones that came with the game were integrated with the main plot.

Game-breaking Bugs

Galen K. Valentine "gallaine", Amazon
28 March 2015
  • Summary: Game-breaking DirectX crashes on a 780; driver update didn't help and neither did letting GeForce Experience "optimize" the settings. I have over 350 hours on the main game and only experienced an occassional crash. The DLC has crashed the game with every cut-scene and sometimes during normal play.

Download method is a scheme

Mike Gumpinski, Amazon
29 December 2014
  • Summary: After purchasing, downloading, and installing the software you have to go through this complex verification scheme. When finally trying to play the game I got a message saying that there is an installation error. This is apparently a known problem.

I'm constantly being slaughtered

Nancy, Amazon
11 December 2014
  • Summary: I must be getting old (actually, I think I realized that a while ago). I can't get through the first big challenge. I'm constantly being slaughtered. I suppose, if I did some research, I might be able to figure out how to kill the baddies but, it's a game and I don't have the patience.

Bioware isn't interested in their legacy products

Paul J. Miller, Amazon
31 October 2014
  • Summary: It appears that Bioware is much more interested in adding downloadable content than supporting. Fortunately, the community is willing to perform the tech support functions Bioware is unwilling to do.

Amazing game on PS3, PC, 360, doesn't work on Mac

Michael A Kocher, Amazon
20 October 2014
  • Summary: As far as the actual game goes, I would easily rate it as a 5*. The issue is with Amazon's installer and the DLC and Awakenings. The DLC and Awakenings are impossible to get working, the workarounds you can find online seem to only be for the PC version, and there is some sort of fundamental failure...

Nope

B. Pascoe "The Hidden Conservative", Amazon
15 June 2014
  • Summary: Had a very difficult time installing to make all the DLC work. Save yourself the headache and just buy on Steam or Origin instead.

Get the games but avoid Origin

Bunea Alexandru, Amazon
2 April 2014
  • Summary: While the game itself may be considered a masterpiece, the delivery platform Origin falls flat on it's face. I followed the instructions on Amazon and used the key in Origin. If it works in Steam .. use it there!! If not just use the Amazon downloader and steer clear of Origin!
