Summary: Nice one. Great graphics, captivating & interesting story. Easy gameplay with lots of HO scenes & inventory. Also some challenging puzzles. It was kind of 'fun' sucking blood from victims LOL! Cheap thrill for sure!
Summary: I didn't think I'd like this one right off as it seemed to have a lot of blood. But there was so much more to the game that you soon lost sight of that. It had achievments including finding all the vials of blood, biting all or none of the women and some of the more traditional ones like not using hints for HO scenes. It also had abilities that you can earn and finding the vials of blood gave you the energy to use them. Even in it's SE form this is a long game.
Summary: I really don't care for the overkill of vampire games on the market right now, but this one was worth taking the time to write about. I downloaded the demo not expecting much and was pleasantly surprised. The story line was well written and it even made me laugh out loud at some of the cheesy humor. The game play was more inspired that alot of HOG/Puzzle adventure games I've tried lately. I especially thought the fang cursor to be entertaining. Hadn't seen that yet.
Summary: Having done Sherlock Holmes - Hound of the Baskervilles in a neat way, the makers now tried another classic: Dracula. And they put the same amount of love, attention and effort into this one. The story is brilliantly told, even though it is not Bram Stoker's story. The characters are absolutely splendid: Igor, the comical one, Dr. van Helsing, as British as you can imagine him and Dracula himself. Pale, and with a wine glass in his hand, filled with blood, no doubt.
Summary: We should all be tired of the vampire theme by now - but it has come to be a guilty pleasure and a little naughty. I enjoyed this adventure game and Dracula's over-the-top voice acting was fun. A must buy for me.
Summary: I just had to write a review for this game. When I first played it, yes, it did seem extremely cheesy. Also, the voice of Dracula doesn't really suit him. But I nonetheless decided to give this game a shot as it seems more tailored for adults than most of the other games. And I'm glad I did. As I ventured further into the gameplay, I was quickly drawn into the story by the rich, detailed graphics and different locations.
Summary: I played the regular version and being such a good game, not CE, it deserves high marks. I did notice that the sound crumped out in the last cut scene, and don't know if this may not have happened if there were bonus content. Got the general idea of the ending anyway. Have only played once so don't know what would have happened if I had selected other options which are offered along the way.
Summary: I didn't buy the CE when it came out, played the demo, read these reviews and when the SE came out started playing that demo, then went ahead and used a game credit, and I'm glad I did. I could barely hear the voice acting since I listen to music when I play games, but kinda wanted to hear more because some of my highly respected GZers saw/heard campy humor, and I agree with them. The first time I played was over 6 hours, very nice for an SE.
Summary: I played the demo first and got sucked in by the story so I bought the CE. I loved this game in spite of the cheesy voice acting (I clicked through Igor and the female characters whenever they spoke although I didn't mind Ven Helsing or the Count). The story just grabbed me and made me want to keep playing the game.
