Summary: It's not Shakespeare but no one is looking for their grandpa on an archeology dig here and there's no spooky mansion (or asylum) so its a big relief for those of us who would like a break from all that. The story is almost a spoof of those old noire gumshoe/spy movies with lines like "she snuffed me out like an old cigarette". A murder mystery-conspiracy, love story and with a twist of a little magical thinking. There is alot of dialogue.
Summary: The game is just ok. I found some of the dialog cheesy. The hidden object parts were ok, but when it comes to putting on the "magic" ring it was funky. At times I knew where an object would be and the cursor would have to move over it 2 or 3 times before it became visible to click on. I would wait for something a little more in depth, and save your money for now. It may be suitable to those who are just beginning HOG's.
Summary: Reasonable game based on the solve a mystery type theme as many are. It was more 'modern' looking in style than some. Storyline was okay, although I didn't real care for the ending. They had tried something a bit different with the ring idea and having to find things you couldn't see, but it was fairly straight forward and I think they could have done a bit more with it.
Summary: Not bad but I didn't think it was exceptional. Nice graphics and story was certainly interesting. Gameplay was good too. I just found the ending was a bit rushed & abrupt, and quite obvious that the game makers were setting it up for a possible sequel.
Summary: I had baught this game and hoped that it would be fun. It was more story than game. I was pretty dishartened. Not only was then story line amiturish, it was a short game. When it eneded I said, "That's it?" It took under an hour to finish it and that's because of it being more story than game.
Summary: I like this one quite a bit--viewed maybe 15 minutes of the demo and decided that I'd go for another punch on my BFG punch card. Bring your patience for the load time--kinda like waiting for paint to dry. Other than that though, I can't really find any glaring negatives. The opening menu has all the options (including game vs. system cursor--game one was a bit sluggish, so I chose the system one).
Summary: I thought it was going to be another one of those silly little games from the title but after I played it for a few minutes, it grew on me because the scenes (I think they called it levels in the game) were fairly quick to get through and it made me want to find out what was next. The graphics could have been better but it was adequate enough to find most of the hidden objects.
Summary: I really liked what I've played so far. I am on my second hour. As for length of the game IDK, I've played for 1.5 hrs and have not visited all the rooms yet, but I think I will wait for a walk-through to check before I buy it.
Summary: I really like this game it holds interest and the locations are good. Some could use a lighter view but the items take time to find but so far are not impossible. I like the communications between the players and the "ring" activation is a great tool for finding items. It has good music and a pretty good story line. I would say it is worth the buy unless it ends quickly like some have been doing. Still worth the try. I enjoy the mystery and solving the murder.
