Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga (EU Ver)
13 March 2014
Conclusion: Side quests are in abundance but are rarely of the fetch quest variety and there is a great sense of humour spread throughout that mixes beautilfully with some of the more grotesque ideas that the game throws at you.
Conclusion: Still, this is definitely an improved version over the original, so kudos to Larian for the extra work they've put in. The game does do a pretty good job at fixing the technical problems, the extra content is welcome, and the pacing is improved so that you don't get stuck all the time.
Excerpt: Sequel to the cult hit, Divine Divinity – Divinity 2: The Dragon Knight Saga steps away from its isometric predecessor to offer a different kind of game. Now with the focus on third-person action, Larian Studios set out to correct some of the mistakes with Divinity 2\'s original release, Ego...
Pros: Solid dialogue and plenty of written lore; exceptional voice acting; graphic engine runs smooth and offers pleasant environments; subtle humor throughout

Excerpt: Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga is the follow-up to the most redundantly titled game in history, Divine Divinity , which was released for PCs back in 2002. Also redundant is the fact that Divinity II was already released on the Xbox 360 and PC, sans expansion, a little over a year ago by another...
Excerpt: Last year I reviewed Divinity II: Ego Draconis, noting that “I very much enjoyed Divinity II, but I also have to say it didn’t meet my hopes and expectations. After a few hours I truly loved the game, but after a few more the weaknesses started showing through.
Pros: Excellent combat system; Solid story; Gorgeous music; Long game with loads of well-designed quests
Excerpt: Wow. Just wow. Larian Studios, a small developer from Belgium has only gone and blown my mind. The first I heard of Divinity II was about a year ago, when the demo for Divinity II: Ego Draconis popped upon Xbox Live.
Divinity II – The Dragon Knight Saga English Review
19 June 2015
Excerpt: Of all the things that Divinity II: Ego Draconis promised, I was most attracted by the shape shifting into a dragon bit. In all RPGs, dragons are hunted for their claws, skin, bones and pretty much any other body part, as a highest class trophy in general.
Pros: Quality musical score, The dialogues, The remake for Ego Draconis, The voice acting, Using Mindread continues to offer interesting options, Visual improvements
Cons: Exaggerated enemy respawn, Flames of Vengeance isn't that attractive on its own, Technical problems which didn't exist in Ego Draconis, Very limited play time as a dragon in the add-on
