Summary: Well, I like a lot of driving, race, simulation or "whatever with a car" games. And I really dislike this one. I bought it eyes closed because of the good reviews and I really regret it. This game is just annoying. No licenced car (only two brands in the annoying drift mode).
Summary: As much as I love the other DiRT games, it pains me to say that Showdown really was a let down. The uninspired tracks and modes made it feel like a discount version. And the lack of licenced cars.
Summary: The game can be fun at times if you avoid the Knockout game mode I believe. The races seem fine if not short in length and easy to win. Online can be fun if you remember not to take it too seriously.
Summary: What a Disappointment the Dirt series has become after it's forefather, the Colin McRae series (they did him an honour in dropping his name). A terrible arcadey mixmash, with horrible physics and dull gameplay, Pick up any Destruction Derby game instead or play out the DD parts of Grid.
Summary: Cheap FlatOut copy with awful destruction model (worse then FO:UC from 2008 and terrible physic). Hope this gymkhana Blocks **** stick with this Showdown series and next Dirt 4 will be real racing only, rally disciplne for best with season progress.
Summary: Played this for a few hours last night, showdown is cheaply made with content taken from Dirt 3, like the Battersea power station level. I have wheel and pedals and the experience is no where near as fun as D3.
