Summary: It has a great Arcade feel to it and the gameplay has the Codemasters quality seal, but... Yes, but is gets old really fast. It didn't gave me the urge to keep playing. Maybe some day but not now. PRESENTATION: The cars feel great and really balanced.
Summary: Only derby game on ps3 that I know. It gets repetitive and after a while it's just too easy to win every race. That being said: it's just a lot of fun to play. It's a well made derby game. I like racing but the cars have to be able to get damaged to make me feel engaged. This game does that.
Summary: First of all we can't campare this game to FlatOut (in my opinion FlatOut 2 is 10/10). But Dirt Showdown is also very funny. Graphics and the gameplay are good, with cool cars and nice challenges.
Summary: Dirt Showdown is nothing like the previous Dirt games. There is little to almost no racing involved. Most is just derby driving, racing with derby aspects, and doing stunts. I got this game free with my purchase of an A8-3870k and for the first game that I installed on my computer, what is there to...
Summary: The game doesn't really gives much satisfaction for completing a race. The game is much more arcade than previous versions of Dirt. The game has added a boost feature which has been used in various other games before. For a game out of the Dirt franchise I wasn't expecting this.
Summary: I'm a fan of arcade racing games, I really like to play them. This was not a joy for me however, as the levels and tracks were very uninspired and left me wanting for the days of Destruction Derby and Vigilante.
Summary: An amazing combination of superb graphics and amazing control and physics (Gamespy is out of its mind with that review), DiRT Showdown is the absolute best in the series for those use a gaming wheel and for those with multiple monitors.
Summary: Well, I like a lot of driving, race, simulation or "whatever with a car" games. And I really dislike this one. I bought it eyes closed because of the good reviews and I really regret it. This game is just annoying. No licenced car (only two brands in the annoying drift mode).
Summary: As much as I love the other DiRT games, it pains me to say that Showdown really was a let down. The uninspired tracks and modes made it feel like a discount version. And the lack of licenced cars.
