Summary: D3 seems to favor ranged classes in the harder difficulties. There are some elite ability combinations that are just impossible to defeat as a barbarian. Loot is also an issue, The only place to get high level gear needed to beat the end game is at the end game or to buy it off the AH. The special edition is nice, I love the D3 soundtrack and the extra copy of D2. The demon skull sits on my desk at work collecting dust.
Summary: As far as gameplay and plot, the game is great. However, the launch and release of this game was very poorly done. Blizzard is constantly finding bugs and errors with the game and is constantly making patches. Blizzard really needs to shape up for this game.
Mediocre. Will live in the shadow of its predecessor.

Summary: I'd love to tell you that D3 is the perfect game we've all been waiting for, but I can't. The combat is great, or at least it would be if I didn't constantly rubber band and lag out for several seconds at a time, which makes for a quick death. I never felt like I was being rewarded for the time I was putting into the game. The drop rates are far lower than Diablo 2, mostly because of the Auction House, both gold and real money.
Summary: well it's no Diablo 2! I don't like that you have to be online even to play the single player part of the game. Camera and character movement should be different. You should be able to zoom in more and rotate camera with mouse and move with w,s,a,d keys. It is still somewhat fun to play. I think they could have done a better job all in all though.
