Diablo 3 is a PC game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment and is the third instalment to the Diablo role-playing game. In Diablo 3 gamers assume the role of a hero and explore the realsm for the Sanctuary. The game is set two decades after the defeat of the demonic lords, Diablo, Mephisto, and Baal, who have set out across the world of Sanctuary on a vicious rampage, twisting humanity to their unholy will. One of the AI characters within the game, Deckard Cain, returns to the ruins of Tristram Cathedral seeking clues to defeat new stirrings of evil, which reawakens ancient evils. Gamers are put to task to defend the mortal world against the rising powers of the Burning Hells once again.

Diablo 3 allows gamers to explore fully the realized realms of Sanctuary – the living, breathing gothic fantasy world of Diablo III which is rendered in 3D. Gamers must battle the forces of the Burning Hells with all-new character classes such as the Witch Doctor, or with modified warriors from Diablo’s past, like the Barbarian. The game also features an interactive environment that gamers can use as a weapon: such as laying traps, turn destructible objects against foes, and use environmental obstacles to their advantage which is rendered by the Havok physics system. The game also features an improved multiplayer mode with an enhanced Battle.net platform. This inculdes enhancements that optimizes connection with friends for an intense cooperative gameplay.
