Good but Short

  • Summary: I enjoyed this expansion pack but found it to be very short for the price. I have continued on in adventuring mode and it is still keeping my attention.

good game but Blizzard treated us bad with this set up!

  • Summary: I have games so that when I am bored I can play them. When my internet goes out is one of these times. I am NOT an online gamer anymore but I have all the old Diablo and Warcraft games and I was looking forward to trying Diablo 3 and expansion when the came in the mail. So my internet went out and I thought perfect time to try it out....wrong!

not bad - was fun for awhile.

  • Summary: Blizzard put in some new features, was kinda fun to play the story (took like a few hours) than you can do Rift runs, but it gets kinda old quick. There doesn't seem much to whats the reason you want to keep getting higher legendary gear. Not much motive to do so unless you enjoy grinding over and over again. got bored quick.

Not worth the $40, that's for certain..

  • Summary: The improvement's made are a good start, but I don't feel like it fulfilled my needs especially at the $39.99 price point. What you're essentially paying for is a new Act & Crusader class. But If you're like me and didn't love the Crusader class as much, than you've just paid $39.99 for the new Act which was by the way a very short one. All the other improvement such as drops etc were available in D3 already..

It's Better Than D3V By Far, Points Off For Peak Time Performance

  • Summary: The xpac changes everything. New loot, new stats, new affixes, higher difficulty, new abilities, new game modes. It's much more fun than the original and there is more to do than ever before. Killing monsters is actually addictive like D2 was. Some of the bugs from the original game have FINALLY been fixed, but not all which is why I'm knocking it two stars. If you liked D3V you'll definitely want to get this xpac.

Certainly a step in the right direction, but..

  • Summary: Going to start this review describing changes to the core game, so there is a foundation for my description of RoS. I wasnt going to bother with this expansion, until i found out that blizzard had greatly re-designed one of the biggest bungles of their launch of diablo 3 (the loot drop system).

Waste of Money

  • Summary: The only question is why. Why would Blizzard put out this worthless product? The game play is exactly the same. For $39 you get a couple of minutes of new cinematics, and a new character. BFD. Story line is exactly the same. This is the first add on I have purchased where you don't even get a new chapter of the story. I have been playing about 2 hrs and already am bored, Addendum: there is a new act after you have killed the prime evil again.

Great DLC addon but not a 40$ expansion.

Deimos ".", Amazon

  • Summary: Great additions like level 70 cap, some new abilities for your characters, adventure mode, nef rifts, new act V and a new crusader class. I am enjoying the new content but overall it is not worth 80% the cost of vanilla Diablo III which has 4 acts, plus it's still online only DRM even for single player on laggy servers which still have frequent rubber banding issues and disconnects two years after release.

About as Bare Bones as You Can Get and Still Call an "Expansion"

izau "izau", Amazon
26 March 2014
  • Summary: Reaper of Souls improves Diablo 3 but still leaves me wanting. For an expasion pack it is also extremely light on content. RoS provides you with one new class, a new act, "adventure" mode, and "rifts." Adventure mode and rifts essentially exist to fix the extremely lackluster state this game was in during its Vanilla launch a year and a half ago.

Good, but not 40 dollars good

ted, Amazon
25 March 2014
  • Summary: I played through the original Diablo 3 game and just finished the expansion. The original game was riddled with problems and many people were angry about it. Over the last year or so, Blizzard did a great job LISTENING to the people that play Diablo 3 and the game has completely turned around since then! Things fixed in original Diablo 3 game through patches (you paid for these when you bought the ORIGINAL game, not the expansion): -No more auction house!
