Summary: This game is a lot of fun, if a bit dated in the graphics area. Somehow I missed this entire series when it first came out so I picked it up when it came on sale and started playing it from the beginning. Can't wait to beat the earlier games and graduate to the more recent ones.
Summary: I'm drawn to games where you level up your characters and can make choices as to what skills you will have. I also like having a choice as to how I will handle a situation. And a good story line makes the game for me. So this game fit those three requirements very well. I played this through to the end and then picked up the DLC because I liked the game so much. The graphics were pretty good. The story was good. I had no problems running the game. Who could ask for more?
Summary: I like this game because it is not just a simple shooter game, but has other interesting elements to it. It is an older game, so graphics and gameplay are dated, but the overall experience is still good. I have not played the sequel yet.
Summary: Got this one and have looked forward to playing it and gettin up to speed for Human Revolution and have had issues with launching it and by that I mean getting it to launch and then stay launchable and with all the patches and fixes and graphic upgrades I have downloaded it is just a matter of sorting them all out and putting them in the right places...
Summary: I confess that I never had the opportunity to play Deus Ex before Human Revolution hit store shelves. As a mark of how much I enjoyed that game, I opted to see what started the whole series (or phenomena may be appropriate to substitute). Purchased the first two games in this set and I must say that I was ASTOUNDED at the level of freedom afforded by the original games' design. Nearly as deep as it is in a game that is its successor by no less than 10 years!
Summary: I played the original Deus Ex on my Mac desktop for a long long time. It is a remarkable game which rewards alternative approaches. The Mac became really obsolete and was replaced by a G5 with OS 10, not compatible with the game. I played the sequel several times on my wife's Windows laptop. In some ways it was more ambitious than Deus Ex, but most gamers regarded it as a disappointment. The DVD combines both games.
Summary: I feel bad not giving this game five stars, it's certainly one of the best I've seen in a long time and I can't believe I haven't heard more buzz about it. I bought the game based on the other reviews here, and I have to say, they're right on target. Deus Ex really delivers serious gaming fun. It's like a game with an X-Files-esque plot (without the aliens), Rogue Spear gaming (strategic FPS), and Soldier of Fortune(action-oriented FPS).
If you've got the hardware, this is a memorable game

Summary: Deus Ex is a great game. This game will not only please FPS fans, but RPG and adventure fans as well. You start the game as a cool UNATCO (United Nations Anti-terroist Coilation) agent named JC Denton. Your brother Paul(who also is a UNATCO agent) is there to help you and is equaly cool. Your mission is to stop the NSF (National Secessionist Forces) from stealing Ambrosia, the antidote to the deadly "grey death" that is killing off the population.
