Summary: Deus Ex still regular heads the list of the best PC games ever made despite being ten years old. Yes, the graphics are dated but since when have graphics made a game anyway. This is a pure gem of a game, not played anything as enjoyable and addictive as this for a long time. Good story line, great weapons. The levels are a wonder of design. Grab a copy of this it will be worth your while.
Summary: Deus Ex is the game I was desperate to play in around 2001. Today, the graphics and sounds are dated, but the gameplay is still excellent. Set in a dystopian future with a burgeoning conspiracy, you play the augmented antiterror agent, JC Denton. As you travel further and further, the conspiracy unfolds, and you simply don't know who to trust.
Summary: I have to agree with the only 3 star review here, the game is outdated. All I can say about it is if you have never played it you should get it. You will love it. It will draw you in and keep you deeply immersed for months. If you have already played it and cleared it, you shouldn't get it again. I have never uninstalled Deus Ex, it sits, proudly, in my short list of currently installed games.
Summary: Ah the future... Advanced technology, cyborgs, corruption and, of course, some awesome guns. Sounds good? Then you will LOVE Deus Ex. This futuristic first person shooter has a whole lot of aces up its sleeves. It features great graphics, brilliant sound effects and music, a gripping plot and as to expected, a whole lot of action. Basically, you take on the role of J.C. Denton, a bionic agent working for the United Nations Anti-Terrorist Corporation (UNATCO).
Pros: Awesome Graphics, Sound and Overall Gameplay
Excerpt: "...better deliver! Need i say that Deus Ex does just that? As the game progresses you start to see why it has actually won awards .It has a complexity about it that lets you change it, at least a little bit as you go, want to be a sniper and take baddies out from a far? Or just hack your way through? Either way is fun. Downside of Deus is in my opinion that you might as well rent it cause when you finished it, then whatr are you going to do? Do it ...
Summary: The game is heaps of fun and i love the different powers your character can
get during the game. The storyline is pretty good and so are the graphics. Kind
of sad as to how short the game was and it only offered a few side quests but
the game does offer different situations where your decisions will change the
outcome of a mission.
Summary: this game is very good! because it has been setup that you are a half human and half robot type person and you have to go around cities and other places and take out people that you have been assigned to do. you can heal yourself if you get wounded by using a robot to fix yopur mechanics. i like the weaponry in this game it is very good! i like using the pistol and putting all of the addons on to it like laser sight and scope!!!!!!!
Summary: Deus Ex is being proclaimed as a new type of gaming experience which is ultimitly very interactive. I found that although it is interactive in the way you can break doors down and such rather than unlocking them, and you can switch lights on and off, there is little more than is seen in other games.
Summary: Deus Ex was given amazing reviews by just about every magazine i read. While its certainly a very original game, and worth buying, it won't appeal to everyone's tastes. Though combat isnt the game's main selling point, its hard to think of it as anything other than a very advanced FPS when you start playing and as the game pitches you straight into a combat scenario initial impressions can be disappointing, even more so due to the praise lavished on it by professional...
Pros: original gamepaly, good storyline, very clever.
Cons: Slightly too geared towards experienced gameplayers.
