Deus Ex: The Fall

Strategy Informer
28 March 2014
  • Conclusion: Once you get through a lot of the shock that comes with The Fall being a tablet conversion and all the little problems it has, fortunately you'll find that it's still a fun new slice of Human Revolution . Get used to the slightly odd un-redefinable controls, the cramped level design, and the silly shop-inventory (where you can only buy, not sell) and you'll find the special Deus Ex gameplay itself is intact.

Deus Ex: The Fall

Destructoid
2 September 2013
  • Summary: After a pretty tantalizing teaser, Square Enix was all set to announce the anticipated follow-up to the successful Deus Ex Human Revolution -- and much to the ire of fans, it ended up being a mobile exclusive. It's not all bad news though, as Deus Ex: The Fall actually works pretty well considering the platform, and offers up a lighter, more portable version of Human Revolution .

Deus Ex: The Fall

IGN
10 July 2013
  • Conclusion: Frustrating combat aside, it’s almost astounding how successful The Fall is at distilling the core Deus Ex experience onto a mobile device. The mysterious and well-told story, steady stream of powerful new augments, and impressive game world all combined to create a mobile experience I didn’t want to put down after I started.
  • Pros: Intriguing Story, Impressive Presentation, Rewarding Exploration, Smartly Streamlined
  • Cons: Bad, Buggy Combat

Deus Ex

Game Boyz
18 October 2004
  • Excerpt: Da Introduction: A blend of action and stealth, Deus Ex brings you a great package of features and excellent replayability. Be sure to recognize the virtues of the save key though, for while saving and loading take some time, they become worth it in the end. Da Graphics: Being that I tested this on a Voodoo3 and a K6-450 I can't complain too much about the slowdown I encountered at times. Graphically the game is quite well done, if maybe a little dark.

Deus Ex (2nd review)

Gameguru Mania
15 May 2004
  • Excerpt: Deus Ex is a 1st shooter, but plays like a mix of System Shock 2 and Thief, with a ingredient of Half-Life and Rogue Spear. There's an intricate skill and "nano-augmentation" system which lets upgrade your ability and body as the game goes on. Skills include things like lockpicking and rifle accuracy, while nano-augmentation affects things like strength and resistance to damage. In the game, you play J.C.

Deus Ex

The Next Level
31 October 2000
  • Excerpt: Enter Deus Ex , almost as much an RPG as it is a first person shooter, where you become the be-all and end-all of an immersive, ever-changing universe. You play JC Denton, one of a scant few to be enhanced with nanotechnology, effectively transforming you into something of an amorphous super agent.

GameSpot
27 June 2000
  • Summary: Veteran designer Warren Spector has always been known for making games that combine action and role-playing elements within seamless 3D environments in order to create the most plausible interactive worlds possible. He's worked on such critically acclaimed game series as Ultima Underworld, System Shock, and Thief, and his latest game, Deus Ex, is similar.

Deus Ex - The Missing Link

InsideGamer
25 October 2011

Deus Ex

Spieletipps.de
27 August 2007
  • Summary: Grafik: Die Grafik erinnert im ersten Augenblick an "Half-Life".
