Summary: I would recommend trying the demo before you buy this game. Again I am a person who enjoys fast pace RTS like this with no real commitment or need to play hours to reap rewards. Also as some have said it was like Diablo but I would disagree although some similar elements this game is more capture and holding points, Upgrading base, etc.
Pros: Well I would say thing game has a fast "pick up and play" game style. It make me think more or a cross between Company of Heros, Titan Quest, and maybe a few others. It is a fast playing RTS game with some Skill trees for your Demigod and with differen equipment with special abilities and such. In this game you only control you Demigod and unless you play as a general type Demigod then you also have access to minions. I would say if you like skirmish type gameplay the...
Cons: Limited Story line. Uses impluses from Stardock with is similar to Steam but with much less users. Requires internet connection to update. Replay value could be limited if you prefer more RPG elements. Price vs. Product
Summary: The item was not what I expected. I love the fact that I got it for a great deal, but it did not meet my expectations. I thought it was a game similar to Armored Core, but it was totally different, I did not like it and I personally do not recomeed the game, but it is up to you.
Summary: This game is great once we were able to start it. It took a long time because the code was not valid, supposedly used by someone else. The company said this happens a lot, not usually the sellers fault.
Summary: I got this game because I'm a huge fan of DotA, a modification for Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. They share similar concepts in many ways, but are also different in many ways. This game is, first of all, slower-paced than DotA. Veterans of that game may find this unappealing, and that's understandable. There is a limited number of demigods to choose from, and some people are having framerate issues involving the sound in the game.
Summary: I truly loved the feel of the game and the battles. Instant action was very nice, loved the abilitys i thought it was well balanced. However since this is a multiplayer genre game i was surprised that there was no lan (Local Area Network). I had a problem with not being able to play on line, though they were good at first for getting back to me, asking me too proof that it was my game, which i did, they then ignored me and my emails to alliviate the problem.
Summary: The demigods are pretty fun to play. Their ability trees are interesting to try different paths. I am guessing that Internet play is very different than playing against the AI - just hate the moron effect of playing with others on the Internet.
Pros: This is a fun game you can play by yourself. Games range around 20 minutes, so you don't waste your life. It is not too complicated and does not require a bunch of research. Characters are not persistent, so if you screw up you can just restart. You don't have to build anything (buildings, etc.), like Warcraft III, just manage your demigod's progress along the ability try each time you get a level up. 4 levels of AI so you can start out on easy to learn and move up th...
Summary: This game is literally the best new thing gameplay wise to come out in a while. However, there are some serious bugs to overcome when playing. The devs are hard at work to fix them, but it shouldn't have been released in this state. Minor complaints are the graphics and a few more maps could be added. Other than that, a spot on game and fresh take on a less common subgenre. Personally, I would prefer Steam for content delivery...
Pros: Great gameplay Unique stylized graphics DoTA with balance/3D/new maps
Cons: Online Multiplayer has some severe connectivity issues Game crashes on most setups with relative frequency Lackluster lighting/effects graphics Stardock (rather than Steam) download service
