Conclusion: In war games as in life, it's best to choose your battles wisely, and there are worthier ones than Delta Force to fight.
Pros: The immediacy of street combat—where the enemy lurks around corners and alleyways and in windows overhead—often lends
Cons: Sniper rifles fire with pinpoint accuracy, emphasis on "pin." Even when locked onto the enemy at 100 meters with sights activated, it sometimes takes several shots to take him down. Conversely, it doesn't take much more than a couple of stray bullets to extinguish your fragile mortality.

Excerpt: While many may be confused by the title as having some relation to the movie or book, the game has nothing to do with the movie. Conclusion: Overall, one cannot dispute that this is the flashiest Delta Force game yet. The single-player campaign is in many ways quite effective in conveying the sense of harried combat, and it all looks and sounds really good.
Pros: New graphics engine is refreshing, game is gripping with some cinematic qualities to it, multiplayer is fun;
Cons: AI is weak, gameplay can be overly simplistic; unrealistic physics for a military sim.
Conclusion: As in previous Delta Force games, Black Hawk Down's AI is extremely poor. The supposedly "elite" Delta Force and Ranger troops shoot each other, push you into the line of fire, and repeatedly miss targets literally right in front of them.
