Summary: Starting off with, I'm a gamer who frequently plays games in windowed mode, as I like to have easy access to my desktop and messenger and e-mail while gaming, and my monitor is big enough to accommodate. There is absolutely no excuse for a modern game like this one to not have a Windowed mode of any sort. Even Grand Theft Auto 4 had windowed mode.
Summary: I was terribly disappointed in this game after trying to play for about three hours. During that time, the game crashed several times, losing my progress and forcing me to restart from a distant check point. The game play itself is fun, don't get me wrong. Running around killing zombies with a random assortment of weapons, being able to make your own 'combo' weapons and a ticking time limit to complete missions is enough to make anyone feel excited for this game.
Summary: [Good] The zombie killing premise inside of a mall with lots of stuff is pretty good. General gameplay is good if you don't mind repetition. [Bad] Games for Windows Live: Even though I was on Windows 8, which makes you sign in, this game just didn't work until you re-downloaded and re-installed GFWL. To add insult to injury, it didn't even recognize my controller until I downloaded some open source emulator. This took almost an hour to fix.
