Summary: Well...."Dead Rising 2" isn't a masterpiece, but enjoyable. The missions and zombie massacres are too repetitive after a while, but if you can live with it, that's fine. The weapon making system is awesome and creative in every way. The graphics are also (kinda) impressive if you watch it in a standard viewpoint. Overall a game that you would love to play in a rainy day.
Summary: I just rented this game recently, and thought I was going to absolutely love it; killing zombies with improvised weapons sounds like a fantastic idea. The weapons are absolutely well executed too, they're entertaining and satisfying to use. The character customization is also pretty well executed in terms of outfit choices and such. With these 2 things done so well, I was really enjoying this game at first.
Summary: The story wasn't so great, the freedom was little, gameplay was repetitive, bosses were ridiculous, graphics were bad and it LAGGED a lot (even on great computers), it's a RUSHED CONSOLE PORT, it requires Games for Windows Live (awful). I have a GTX NVIDIA video card and it still lags like a motherhumper. Other than that, the "crafting" system was cool, there's a large variety of weapons and places for you to visit, other stuff... But don't buy it.
Summary: This game wasn't how I expected it to be, most of your weapons only last you like a 1 min. that really disipointed me along without being able to sprint because he runs like at 2 mph. This is a short review so i'll end it here I give Deadrising 2 a 5/10.
Summary: First of all, only buy this game if you have patience, lots and lots of patience. With an outdated graphics engine, glitchy animations and the worst save system I've ever seen in a game, it's only worth your time if you have the patience to the things like: Crossing the entire map just to rescue one survivor only to have it turn sides and shoot you to death, losing hours of gameplay due to a crappy save system and the list goes on.
Summary: Wow, Case Zero was way better. The time restraint is horrible. You can't do everything you want to do. I hate people telling me what i "have" to do. That is what work is for! Graphics are mediocre. The combo weapon system is fun. Case in point...this game gets old after awhile. All the bosses are insanely strong and unbearable to even want to beat.
Summary: Just bought Dead Rising 2 on PC and I will never buy a game with Games fof Windows Live system again. Moreover : - just few setup options - sound very low even at max level - mouse reactivity problems with slow movements - lot of connection problems in coop mode It only takes three hours for these problems take away my desire to play. Refund requested.
Summary: in a simple one liner dead rising 2 was a rushed game. Now that doesnt mean it is terrible as it does have some decent fundamentals. on the plus side there are plenty of weapons to choose from with enough variety to keep things fresh for a while in both the comical and realistic catagories. The combining system is also pretty deep with the 50 odd combinations. This combined with some really cool dismemberment mechanics make for some very thrilling zombie bashing.
Summary: The gameplay's terrible. Drop of a 1ft ledge and your guy will delay on the ground for a second. Swing a weapon and your guy will delay for a second. Change clothes and your guy will delay for 5+ seconds. There's also friendly fire which makes fighting zombies with an NPC near impossible. The camera during strong attacks snaps away completely disorientating you.
