Destroy zombies, rescue humans, collect stuff, while on a tropical island

Summary: I'm a huge fan of video games (mostly MMORPGs, but I do enjoy the occasional FPS). DIR is fun, there's plenty of ways to create your own "Zombie Kill of the Week" moments (including some jumping attacks - death from above!), this game features a grip of weapon types, and loads of upgrades. Collection missions (bleah) abound, but it's mostly about mindless killing of mindless zombies.
Summary: Overall, it's a good game. Decent graphics and gameplay. The only problem I have with it is the occasional lag and the blurriness caused by moving around/turning. The storyline is quite similar to that to the first game, but isn't that how most games are? All the Call of Duty games have practically the same story: a huge organization or country tries to take over the world and you have to destroy them. And same goes for most of the Halo games. But overall good game.
Summary: Yes, I loved the first one, yes I loved this one too. For some the play mechanics is way too boring and repetitive, for me it's where the fun is at. Does it feels unpolished? YES but looks better than the first one. Does it ends too soon? YES but it depends if you rush through the amin plot, NO if you do the side quests. Is it really an expansion?
