Summary: I would comment on the gameplay, but I cannot bear to go over 30 minutes into it. It was stuttering the whole time between 20-30 fps at the second lowest settings on a laptop that runs games such as Skyrim on Medium settings at 60 fps. Honestly I was hoping to get some casual fun out of this game but if it cannot run properly, even with minor tweaking to its settings, it really isn't worthwhile.
DID NOT GET ANGEL OF DEATH PACK WITH PREORDER!!!!!
29 September 2012
Summary: Angel of death pack was never given to when i received my limited edition of darksiders 2.I assumed it would activate when Steam made dlc available -which steam did today @ 10-14-2012.but i still havent received it-and do not feel like spending $2.00 on something i already own.
Summary: I bought this game on DVD for Pc. After recieving the game and loading the disc,Steam wanted to download 5.4 Gigs.It turns out that the disc contains almost nothing and the game is actually a download so if you have a slow download or restricted download capacity, this game is not for you.The disc is only the setup to load off of Steam.
Avoid the PC version - A shockingly bad console port
M. Weir, Amazon
15 August 2012
Summary: This isn't some PC snob rant. I own a PS3, 360 and PC and love all three. I debated getting this on the PS3 because I played and earned a platinum trophy on Darksiders 1, but as I built a new PC recently, I wanted to give the PC version a try. I regret that decision. The PC port is (surprise!) shockingly bad. Video options are limited to resolution and vsync on/off (no joke).
Summary: This game is horribly flawed on PC (retail dvd version not download). I have a fairly high end PC, Win 7 home premium x64, two 560ti cards in sli (latest drivers), 8gb 1600 Mhz ram, i5 5600k cpu, SB xfi titanium sound card, ssd drives etc. The game hung when I changed resolution the first time. Had to force a shut down. There are pretty much no video options except vsync and gamma.
