Summary: This game took me a very long time to get into - luckily the length of the game was adequate enough for me to change my mind about it. Lots of HO scenes, and puzzles were fairly easy. The plot was typical, so it was not surprising that I found myself bored at times.
Summary: This game and FACES were quite similar. This one heavy to HO scenes. There was nothing innovative or outstanding in this one but it was long and well drawn. There were a lot of tasks to be completed and an abundance of HO scenes, inventory objects and puzzles.
Summary: I bought Dark Ritual because I enjoyed the part of the game in the demo. You explore a colorful mansion, with intriguing features such as a garden with a tomb of ancestors, secret rooms, and something strange going on in the cellar.
Summary: This is yet another one of those sinister feeling adventure HOGs with a quasi-lucid plot, half detective thriller/ half sci-fi. I pretty much stumbled my way through this one with little idea what I was doing, but succeeded anyway in large part thanks to a very good hint system.
Summary: Dark Ritual has all the ingredients I usually like in a game, however, and sadly, there was just nothing remarkable about it. I found myself only able to play for a few minutes at a stretch before getting bored.
Summary: I played the trial of this game, which I found nice, but not great. A FBI agent is looking for her missing sister. It seems she vanished after answering an ad to take part in a questionable experiment by a Dr. Brown.
