Summary: The atmosphere for this game is so instrumental in the way this story evolves. The sounds and details are genuinely creepy.... and that is something I wish more games had. This whole trilogy + The Lost Crown are my favorite games ever. For anyone who likes investigative/horror/mystery sort of games, you will love this game and everything from Jonathan Boakes.
Summary: I found no other reviews complaining of a game/system crash upon starting the game so maybe I just got a bad disc. I contacted "Iceburg" support and received an apologetic response but a diagnosis that my "graphic card driver is out of date"...simply not true. There was no response on their part to further inquiries.
Summary: Well you know how good the first one was and so many of his stuff was super spooky. I can say that this had a very few worthwhile moments and a lot of too-ing and fro-ing in dark corridors to get yet another pair of scissors in between. the spooks just stood there. It was nice going back over the scenes and the hotel was a nice idea but the entire premiss was thin and, even, silly.

Summary: This is a traditional point and click adventure game. it's first person and made by the creator of Lost Crown which is a fantastic game. It is pretty creepy and the story was very engrossing. Recommended for any adventure gamer looking for a horror themed game.
Summary: In the series, this was the most disappointing. There was a lot of make work in it, in that you had to use scissors for all sorts of things and you could not just grab a handful from the several rooms containg dozens of them, you could only take one at a time. And if you as much as looked at them crosseyed, they would snap and off you would have to go to find another pair. The game kept us running back and forth, upstairs and down, just busy work.
Summary: I have played all the Dark Fall games. Yes the game is different. It is not the 3d world that is used in games, but it does not dissapoint. The story line is great. The sounds and the interaction with the differnt residents are creepy at best. Once you get passed the flat graphics it opens up a dark world of murder, town secrets, and a horrid past. The story line, has different outcomes on the choices you make in the dialouqe.
