Summary: played original crysis. A little difficult to learn controls at first and I let it sit for a long long time. Once i got used to it, couldn't stop, much like the second version. However, the only reason i gave it a good rating instead of excellent is that it was too easy after getting through the first. Easy means fast and i think i finished the game in 2 days.
Summary: If you like person shooter games, then you'll enjoy this one. It's a little busy for me that's why I give it a GOOD rating. The graphics are excellent and there's plenty of action for but it's too much like an arcade game.
Summary: Crysis warhead is a fun second edition to Crysis however playing in in direct X 10 is an extreme pain in the butt, most of the times it wont load and I have to play it in direct x9 mode. I don't have these isues with Crysis just Crysis-warhead. I have uninstalled the game "reformated my pc again with vista ultimate 64 ed" and STILL have the same issues with warhead. I am running a 4870 1bg card with 4 gigs of mem with a e8400, my system is rock solid.
Summary: the graphics are still killer in this game. I had the original and was just waiting for the "right price" for this second edition. the single player is good and the multiplayer game is very challenging. Too bad it has lost most of it's support from the creative minds at Crytek already. But, all in all, this is a good game.
Summary: The game is a good game to be sure but I found it to be a letdown on more than one level first of all it is to short, second it is really only a few chapters from Crysis and it is about getting an object that in Crysis is a one scene shot as such it seems almost dumb to have an entire game just to get an object that had little point in the parent game. I also find it a bit disappointing that people in the storyline are never really seen and it bugs me.
Pros: As always, the Crysis engine looks beautiful, providing detail beyond any other fps game. The nanosuit functionality is unique to the Crysis franchise and adds a tremendously enjoyable variety to the game.
Cons: Huge number of compatibility issues causing random game crashes and full system crashes -- this is new, Crytek, Crysis played fine... Much slower load times than Crysis and overall performance seems worse than the original.
