Summary: Pros It has excellent graphics, of course. It is more fast paced than crysis. It has a more involved storyline. I like the way the plot unfolds in this better than the original crysis. You work more with other players than crysis.
Summary: All as expected from a game continuation. That's OK because it's as good as Crysis, but honestly the shortest add-on I've ever played. Fun, but over in about 2 hours. Wait until it lowers in price for it to be worth buying.
Summary: If you enjoyed the original Crysis as I did, you will enjoy Warhead equally. There is nothing I find really unique or revolutionary, just more of the same. There are far too few times you are fighting with a (npc) squad, but the communication audio commentary is fun to listen too.
Summary: The original , although demanding in hardware and harboring a benign version of SecuROM, was a worthy successor to FAR CRY: high quality graphics, interactive environment and fast paced action (OK, except the space stage), what was there not to like?!
Conclusion: The game itself is actually much better than the rather meagre score awarded in PC gamer....but.....it is very unstable and persistently freezes and crashes. Have completed Bioshock, Gears of War, Call of Duty and the original Crysis without any problem on my PC so reckon it must be a bugged game.
Conclusion: The first Crysis had my jaw drop to the floor after I saw how smooth it ran on my PC. For whatever reason, it looks like this expansion has worse performance and required me to set detail back quite a bit in order to enjoy good frame rates.
Summary: I bought the game and installed it before reading any of these reviews.....The game itself is awesome, much better even than the original Crysis. More action, weaps, no more selecting to pick up ammo etc...more varied missions.
