Excerpt: I played Crysis 1 and Warhead back to back before Crysis 3 came out. I must say although Crysis 1 starts off rather strong the end of the game was painfully boring and tedious. This game had a much better pace, and much more enjoyable fights with Aliens than Crysis 1. I also thought the character had far more of a connection than Nomad, since he talked.
Summary: CRYSIS WARHEAD is basically an expansion of the original game so everything I felt about that game also applies here. Even though it’s now 5 years old the game looks fantastic and has some impressive physics (apparently the CryEngine was updated for this). The story is adequate, given the limitations of a game such as this, and the voice acting is convincing throughout.
Summary: No aliens, I don't want you to ruin an expansion to Crysis 1. Go away, shush! Why not? Because you're related to the story a little bit? No, I hated you since the first Crysis! Shush, shush, shush! Off you go! very well then, I shall leave. But I shall let you know that without you the game would be a lot better. Again. Especially since the game is much shorter than the first Crysis.
Summary: Crysis Warhead is not a sequel, is a stand alone expansion. And Crytek did a great job. Surprisingly, the story is better, telling the story of Psycho. The gameplay is the same as Crysis's gameplay, but now with some new, decent and helpful things. Example, unlike the first Crysis, you can automatically pick up ammo for your gun, from the enemies. And that's a decent add, because It's kind of frustrating to pick up manually the guns from the enemies.
Summary: After playing the original crysis i was floored by the visuals and awesome gameplay. I couldn't quite believe how crysis warhead ended up improving everything about the first game. There is still the freedom to tackle situations but with a lot more help to navigate around the environments. Also, I can't believe how good this game still looks today. Every time I play the game I see something that wows me.
A must play, an elite gaming experience not to be missed.

Summary: Graphics: This game looks fantastic. Very realistic, especially environmental elements that are often weak in video games. Things like; water, smoke, tree leaves and plants and the whole jungle are all done exceptionally well... even by 2012 standards. The incredible good look of this game coupled with the awesome sound (next) create a top shelf immersive experience.
Summary: The Good: More Crysis, better balancing of open environments and closed, more big aliens to kill The Bad: Nothing really new, still requires a monster to run, story is still lacking The original Crysis was a technical phenomenon with a lot of great elements that worked, and Warhead is the exact same game with a different setting. This is both good and bad, but more positives than anything.
Summary: CrysisWarhead is greater than its predecessor Crysis.... I played the two back to back; there is only one way to describe this - in your best Jamaican accent - Totally Great Man. Overall Score 10, played 4 years after release, SteamPC version, and DRM Steam only (always without flaws) and no EA/Origin necessary. [Story] Play as the character -Psycho-, survive the VTOL crash and go deep behind enemy lines.
Summary: i just want to make something clear one other person posted a review saying the game was 20 hours of game play that would only be true if he was talking about the first game or he is the worst person in the world at video games the game is 5 hours at maximum but it is really fun its just pure action unlike the first game
Summary: The combat is identical to Crysis, so fun but no longer innovative. As Psycho your suit has the same powers as Nomad's and you use the same weapons except for the special endgame gun. The story runs parallel to Crysis without really adding much new information. The game seems a little more stable than Crysis (playing both on a computer built in 2011 that wildly exceeds the recommended specs for both yet still struggled with parts of Crysis).
