Summary: I just got the game from Amazon. The game comes with the Limited Edition, and it instructs me to go to mycrysis.com/limitededition to download so I can take advantage of the benefits. I created an account, but could never receive the instructions to activate my email; hence, I can't create an account. Because of this, I can't post at the forums either.
High end gamers avoid this one like the plague!!!!!!

Summary: Gamers with high end systems need not look to this game as till this day there is no directx 11 support. Just cracked my brand new copy and installed only to find that the navigation menus did not work properly. So I looked to the mycrysis website only to find a post 2 months old promising a directx 11 patch soon and 153 pages of unsatisfied complaints and inquiries of when the patch will be released. Crytek why did you release this game with directx 9? REALLY?????
Summary: This game is such a horrible sequel I'm not even sure where to begin.... From the moment I first got into the game I was let down by intro music. It's depressing and horrible (not bad musically, it actually makes you *feel* horrible though). That might have been ok if not for the fact that it's the basic music track for the ENTIRE GAME. The musical score varies slightly but not enough to hardly ever make you think you're not in the main menu for the rest of the game.
Summary: I do not see any justifications for the hi ratings I attempted playing on easy-play and found too difficult as way too many ncps appear repeatily with heavy firepower, while you are floating arbout as someone drunk and in a fire-fight. The nano-suit, options for armor protection and stealth are about useless in limited time durations. There are no power-ups or health kits leaving you to wait out extremely slow regeneration.
Summary: The box this game came in said Crysis 2 and the disk has Crysis 2 printed on it, but this is NOT Crysis 2. It's similar to Call of Duty 4 or Black Ops. Do this, jump here, push that, and if you don't you either die or can't progress through the map. There is no way to save your progress, it uses check points. If you die you restart the map from the very beginning, all the guys you killed are now alive again.
Summary: Crytek said Crysis 2 would be an open sandbox game. It is absolutely not. After listening to Crytek. I believed Crysis 2 would have large maps with lots to do in each one. Instead, the maps are tiny with a small group of npcs to kill. Then move to the next map for more of the same. AI? I hit dozens of npcs with multiple head shots while they stood still. The rest of them just walked routes. And when shot, they took a different route. Crysis 2 may be an OK console game.
Summary: I was really looking forward to this game showing what my system was capable of. Unfortunately, the best this game can do is tax an XBOX 360 which is ancient 5 year old HW. The game plays like almost every other generic shooter out there in confined spaces. Honestly, there is no reason anymore to buy an advanced computer with a good graphics card. PC Gamers should avoid this game and look elsewhere. There are only 3 graphics options on the settings screen.
An absolute disaster and a mark of shame for a once great series
PC Gaming Fan, Amazon

Summary: I will just come right out and say it: Crysis 2 is terrible and typifies everything wrong with PC gaming today. I say this as a huge fan of the original Crysis and Crysis Warhead, which were two of my favorite games. In fact, I just played them both over the weekend on Delta difficulty in preparation for Crysis 2. Despite selling over three million units of the original Crysis on PC, Crysis 2 was clearly developed for consoles first and PC second.
Summary: Empire your review is wrong. This game is utter shite. The AI is completely broken, walking into walls or circling on the spot not noticing when you shoot them in the face, the multiplayer is unbalanced and the servers can't host a game for more than a minute without you having to be redirected to a new host. This then repeats itself ad nauseum. Yes the game looks lovely....and that's it.
